The alarm sounded again, stirring Bonnie from her sleep; tears dried onto her cheeks. She sat up instantly and switched off the alarm, listening to the light rain outside hitting the window gently.
She rubbed her eyes gently to avoid hurting it and yawned in a soft high pitch. She pulled her legs out from the duvet and fell into thought.
'Why am I still here? I shouldn't even be here after what happened, if Foxy just kept his paws to his fucking self, I wouldn't be here still thinking about what happened.'
She sighed harshly, letting a growling noise come out with it. She opened her bedside cabinet, pulling out a sheet of pills which were neatly put away so they were barely visible. She popped two of them out and looked at them with guilt.
Her ears fell behind her again, tired from forcing them up when she's not happy. She stood up from the bed, staring at them as if she were about to commit a crime. Yet she couldn't let this continue, mum wouldn't approve seeing her like this.
Bonnie walked into the bathroom with her empty glass and filled it with water before downing them quickly.
~One Month Ago~
Foxy was walking the streets in town, going in and out of buildings with Bonnie's friends. They were laughing and enjoying each other's company whilst trying on different clothes and buying little snacks from small businesses along the street. "Ay Mange, reckon our lass would like this?" The fox said, pulling out a small dark purple maxi dress with long sleeves. "Not seen 'er in a while we should maybe surprise her"
Chica's face lit up with joy. "Oh Foxy that's beautiful, get it for her! Maybe you'll finally pull a finger out your ass and actually ask her!" "Shut it." Foxy said, embarrassed about letting Chica know about his feelings. Yet at the same time, he appreciated her constant encouragement to do what he wants the most.
The girls followed Foxy to the checkout till and chatted between themselves as Foxy paid for the small dress.
"It's getting a bit late isn't it.." Mange pointed out, looking at the waning sunlight of the sun just past sunset. The sky began showing off bright colours of pink, purple and orange as small clouds delicately reflected small parts of the sun's rays.
"Yeah, we should probably get the train back home." Chica agreed.
The three friends finished off their evening walking back to the station and having fun with each other. "By the way, Foxy. If ya see Bonnie when you leave us to go on the other train please say we miss her? Please?" Mange asked.
"Sure." Foxy said, as they split up to go onto other trains.
The fox left the girls and he waited as the escalators took him down to the underground platform, pictures of new movies coming out all over the wall as he descended.
After having reached the platform, Foxy sat down, sighing heavily as he leaned back against the seat. He pulled his phone out of his leather jacket and started playing a game, waiting for the train to arrive seeing as no-one else was at the station, but to be fair it was getting late and not many people would be using transport at this time.
A small, hooded figure finished their own descent down the escalators, seemingly on cue with the train's arrival. Foxy looked up at the lights as they approached through the tunnel, noticing the figure. He thought nothing of it believing that it was probably just a random person but what he saw next shocked him to his feet. The figure suddenly began running with increasing velocity towards the train.
