PART 9

Jungkook frowned in surprise as he glanced at his watch. It was almost seven-thirty now but there was still no sign of any other life in his apartment.

Before this, it was clear that he was used to being alone and lonely. But it was different after the girl's presence. Her chatter about everything, a small hum, or whatever it was had started to fill his loneliness. Jungkook , who really liked being alone, was quite hesitant at first, but it turned out that Jisoo's arrival didn't bother him.

And usually this morning Jisoo is busy brewing tea, or watching tv broadcasts in the morning, or maybe busy nagging about a client with a plan on her laptop, or maybe taking a shower in her own room.

But no, even when Jungkook passed in front of her room —on purpose — earlier, there was no sound at all from her room.

The man himself was immaculate in a suit complete with a tie. So he decided to knock on Jisoo's door. Just checking for her whereabouts.

Tuk tuk tuk

No reply.

"Jisoo, are you awake?"

Jungkook frowned for a moment after hearing a soft moan from inside. Then soon the door opened, revealing the figure of Jisoo who was still complete with bear pajamas and disheveled hair. Even added with a tissue pinned in her nose.

Her appearance was disheveled, but for some reason it didn't take away the sweetness in Jungkook's  eyes at all.

"Are you sick?"

"Hnggg... Just a common cold and flu."

Carefully, Jungkook touched the back of his hand on Jisoo's forehead. And exactly as expected. 

Hot.

"Sounds like you need to see a doctor. Or should I call for you?"

"Nooo ... I'm fine. Just need a little rest."

But Jungkook frowned doubtfully.

"If only yesterday you obeyed me to come inside immediately."

"I'm fine Jeon Jungkook... Already go, you are going to be late."

"If you go to the doctor, it will probably heal faster."

"Hm hm hmmmm..."

"Go to—"

"Aish, yes yes... Later I will ask Seulgi or Bona. Or maybe Taehyung to take me."

"Taehyung?" Jungkook frowned faintly at the familiar name.

"My office mate."

"Is he a man?"

Jisoo snorted softly then laughed lazily.

"Of course. If it was a woman, her name would be Taenoona."

Again Jungkook frowned without responding to Jisoo's joke. For some reason, it sounds wrong to him.

"Why don't you come to my office first, then I'll take you to the doctor."

Hearing that, Jisoo sighed. Again... Why after all that man gave, Jungkook is still this good? What good did Jisoo do in her previous life? Could it be that Jungkook is her long separated brother???

Oh definitely not. They're having sex oftenly.

"No need-"

"Change your clothes. I'll wait another 10 minutes."

Without waiting for Jisoo's answer, Jungkook immediately got up from there and threw his briefcase on the sofa before sitting there too.

"... Heh Jeon Jungkook, I said——"
