The Breeding

chapter 6

We all walk to the kitchen and the guy's get started on preparing lunch, I don't know what to do so I just stand in the doorway feeling like an alien in my own skin.

Larsyn notices and pulls me over to the counter where they are chopping up vegetables and lifts me until I'm sitting on it right next to him and another guy who has auburn hair and green eye's.

I blush when he sees me looking at him and he smiles shyly offering me a piece of carrot he is chopping up, I slowly take it and start eating it.

I finally look around and see most of the other guy's are staring at us making me blush harder against my will. But I also really take in all of them and notice they are all really attractive, in all different ways they look like they could be royalty.

They all tower over me which isn't hard but from guessing the shortest one is maybe 5'11 and has shaggy brown hair that looks so soft I want to reach out and play with it.

Realizing I've been watching them all for five minutes I look down at my bruised knees and try to relax and not freak out again.

I feel someone step closer to me and offer me a cherry tomatoe I look up and it's the blonde with dimples he smiles and I smile back taking it from him and put it in my mouth and chew it making him smile bigger.

They seem to be making A pasta dish with salad and bread, making the kitchen smell amazing.

After about thirty minutes we are all sitting at A table and the guy's are all chatting and eating, I'm sitting between larsyn and a guy who introduced himself as Baine.

I'm to anxous to reach for my fork and eat, I've never eaten with men before because mother never trusted me to be alone with them.

I don't know if I'm supposed to act a certain way or if there are rules to follow.

My stomach rumbles loudly making me look down in embarrassment wishing I would be swallowed by the ground and disappear.

Baine looks down at me and frowns seeing I haven't touched the food on my plate.

"What's wrong, do you not like this stuff" he asks softly

"I don't know how to act or what to do, if there are rules when eating with people" I whisper back but everyone stopped talking and heard me.

He slowly takes my hand and gently turns my face so we are looking at each other, he looks sad and angry at the same time.

"You don't have to worry about any rules or how to act around us, we won't judge you or purposely hurt you" he says loud enough for everyone to hear " Just eat like you normally would and if you don't like something tell us and we can make you something else".

I have tears in my eye's because he sounds so genuine and sweet, I look around the table and see them all looking at me with concern and sadness in their eye's nodding in agreement.

I let out A breath and use the hand that's not still being held by Baine to reach for my fork, taking a bite of the pasta I moan and reach for more.

Baine tightens his hold on my hand and makes a noise, worried I did something wrong I look at him and see his eye's are slightly hooded and has this look in his eyes that makes me feel tingling in my lower stomach.

"What" I ask softly

He blinks and blushes slightly
" Nothing love, do you like it?"

I nod my head yes and he smiles, I continue to eat and make happy noises throughout the meal and finally lean back in my seat feeling full and content.

I look up and all of the guy's are watching me with the same expression as Baine, I look to my right and see larsyn looking down at my with a smirk.

"Do you want more" he asks in a husky voice that makes me shiver a little bit.

Hoping he didn't see that I shake my head no.

"Ok well how about we get you cleaned up and maybe take a nap?" He asks me while standing up holding his hand down for me to grab.

"Ok" I say and follow him to a room with a bathtub and towels.

He starts the water and tests the temperature before bending down and kissing my head.

"If you need anything call for me" He says as he shuts the door leaving me alone.
