As the stars danced rituals in the sparkling night sky, you stood alone waiting for him to show. The moonlight showing the light to the path of destruction if he didn't.

~Flashback~

Your head laid on his chest that was rising up and down slowly. You stood there holding back tears. 'Why did I forgive him?' you thought. He sighed lifting you up to look at his eyes.

"You don't trust me?" He whispered looking straight through your lies.

"I'm sorry." you muttered looking down at your hands that laid in his.

"Please. I love you."

"Then why did you do it, Liam?" you asked. A tear fell from your eye, but not from sadness. From anger.

He sighed, a tear falling from his eyes as he caressed your bruised cheek. "Im sorry." He cried.

"Prove it." you whispered. "Meet me at the park at 1:00 am." You got up and left as he stared at you.

" *Insert name* "He called out. You turned around to see a smile planted on his lips."I'll be there."

~Present~

The light of your phone blinded you as you read the time. 1:30.

"I should just go home." you said. Kicking the leaves beneath your feet, the tears rolled down your cheeks as you realized that you were just another innocent girl who thought she had the perfect guy but was blinded by the lies. As you reached the tall house that looked haunting this late at night, you found the hidden key under the mat, and opened the door to your mum's house. Sneaking up the steps, you find flower petals scattered over the king sized bed.

The lyrics to Truly Madly Deeply swirled through your ears. Liam stood in the center of the candle lit room, right in front of the bed, holding a bundle of red roses.

Stepping closer to you he picked out a rose and put it behind your ear as you stood in shock.

"I would do more than just meet you at the park." he whispered brushing the fallen hair out of your face, and wiping the tears away. As his touch sent bombs exploding on your soft skin you couldn't believe he did this all for you.

"Liam." you whispered, a smile sneaking its way onto your lips.

"Shh." he whispered leading you to the bed. You saw words made out of petals on the bed.

"I love you forever and always."

You covered your mouth, a shriek slipping out as Liam spun you around in his arms and turning you to face him. His eyes held love and compassion, a smile of love and longing for you was imprinted on his lips. " *insert name*, I know what I did was wrong, and I dont deserve you, but I love you and I finally found the girl that I belong with. I love you and I will never make that mistake again. *Insert name*, be mine forever. You're the one." he whispered wiping the happy tears away from your eyes.

"Forever and always Liam." you whispered as your lips connected into a long passionate kiss that carved the words into your heart, that set the fire burning in your heart.

"I love you." you both whispered in unison.

You knew Liam James Payne was the one and only.
