"You know," I listened to the hum of the light above Chrissy and I's head, "I really do not think this is a good idea."

"It'll be fine. I'll be fine." She rocked on the balls of her feet.

"You sure?" I bolted to my feet, making her jump back a little, "Cause you're ghostly pale, and you're shaking like we're standing in the middle of the Arctic." I threw my jacket off, it landed at our feet, "It's okay to admit you're scared."

"I'm not afraid." She glanced behind me, obviously looking for Eddie.

I stood in front of her, studying her face. She gulped, picking at her nails before turning sharply around, standing completely still.

"Weird." I tapped her shoulder, trying to pull her around, but she wouldn't budge.

"Okay, look," I sighed, going round to her side, "I didn't mean to--" I took a panicked step back as I saw her face, her eyes rolled back into her head, seizing uncontrollably.

"Holy..." I took a step forward, shaking her lightly, "Chrissy? You alright?" I clicked my hands in front of her face, "Hey, hello!" She didn't budge.

"Eddie!" I yelled, keeping my eyes glued to the girl in front of me. A quiet 'what?' drifted down the hallway, "Get in here! Eddie seriously! Like now!"

I could still hear him rustling at the bottom of the hallway, so I stepped back, talking a calming breath, "Please don't be like earlier." And I entered the mindscape.

It was nothing like before, it was quiet, I couldn't hear anything, anyone. It was complete and utter silence. Burrowing deeper I tried to form an image, if I knew what was happening in her head maybe I could pull her out of it.

Footsteps echoed in the darkness, growling it was guttural like an animal. I did a three sixty, "You don't belong here..." A deep voice reverberated around me, like it was in my head, not the other way around.

I peered into the darkness, a figure walking from the distance, "Chrissy!" I yelled, "You're having a seizure, okay? You're alright?" I was shaking

"Chrissy is not alright." The voice spoke again, "And I think you know it A."

"A?" I whispered. "How..."

"Get out of her head!" The voice boomed, the figure having stopped coming any closer, "Now." He whispered, as if triggering my exit, the screams from before returned. I covered my ears, but it did no use, this was coming from someone else's head.

They were louder than before, more terrified, more hurt. The feeling of being trapped overcame me again. I fumbled around in the darkness of her headspace, "This isn't real, this isn't real." I muttered, tumbling to my knees, struggling to hear my own voice over the screeches.

"This isn't real!" I yelled, stumbling forwards, bumping into something. I turned to see Eddie but his eyes were focused entirely on something else. Scared of what was behind me, I turned slowly to see Chrissy floating in the air, completely suspended.

Terror took over my body, I couldn't speak, couldn't move. Eddie was trembling beside me, all the lights in the trailer flickering like a goddamn Christmas tree.

"Oh my god," I managed, "Oh my god!" My voice raised to a shriek as Chrissy's body collided with the ceiling. Eddie snapped back, pulling both of us to the floor in panic.

Tears of pure terror pricked my eyes as I shuffled back, watching her in the air. My hands covered my mouth to drown out my uncontrollable wails as her limbs began to snap, audible cracks rebounded through the room, louder than Eddies screams.

When her eyes burst into the back of her head I couldn't help but sob, watching as her body collided with the floor, jaw cracked, arms and legs bent in unnatural ways.
