He looked at her enjoying the smirk on her face and the jokingly fanny attitude she carried herself with. He could identify with her. She had some cockiness in her like him. Though with her it wasn't so much fueled off of arrogant confidence but more born out of a strong 'I don't give a fuck mindset'. She looked confident as to not caring about what happens cause she could dial with anything. He could tell she was that kind of person.

He though himself to have the confidence of a winner, she had the confidence of a fighter. More than that, she looked like she had the guts to own up her fuck ups. And he liked that. The way she carried herself made him want to know more.

"How come you moved to Canada, Europe girl?" He asked as he put out his cigarette.

"Work. I travel quit some because of it. Sometimes I need to stay in one place for more than just a few weeks, so they get me a house here."

"I see. And how long are you staying here?"

"You want me to leave?" She joked with a raised eyebrow. She seemed to do that a lot. "As long as they need me too." She added the real answer.

He nodded and decided to give her some insight on himself even though she did not asked.

"Well, I work with business around here. I'm sure you'll hear a bunch of shady shit about me if you stick around here long enough."

"Will I now? Guess we'll see. But I like to judge for myself. "

"Oh, believe me. We keep hanging out and eventually you will."

"That's what we are doing right now? Hanging out?"

"We are sharing drinks and smokes. Yeah, I'd call it that."

She hummed as a response and looked at the glass. At this point she was bored of filling it so she reached for the bottle and took a sip straight from it. He smiled at her and chuckled.

"Oh, we at this point now huh?" He said and did the same as she left the bottle on the table again.

"Indeed, we are. I like your t-shirt by the way." She said pointing at his shirt.

He looked down at himself surprised. He had forgotten that under his black jacket, that was currently laying on his apartments floor, was a movie t-shirt that see had grabbed as he got dressed again. Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas was written on it with the car from the movie under it.

"You like the movie?" He questioned.

"It's one of my favorites." She said shrugging.

And then she witness him getting excited almost childishly. For the next half an hour they ended up talking about movies. After Fear and Loathing in Las Vega, they moved on to the movie Blow. He mentioned Mulholland Drive and Altered States and she got as excited as he was, crossing her legs under herself and leaning on the table. They got into directors and after Nolan, Kubrick and Jodorowsky she told him how he had to check Caspar Noe.

"Damn. We should watch that together girl."

He said as she explained the concept of a movie called Under the Void. She half agreed with a 'maybe' and they both got their turns on the tequila bottle that had been forgotten for the past half hour.

"Alright, if your life had to fit on a movie era, tell what would it be?" He questioned and she didn't waste time to answer.

"Black and white movies of the twenties, mainly expressionism in Germany."

"Shit, I can't decide if that's really depressing or...ah fuck it, it's a good pick."

"Maybe my life is depressing." She said jokingly.
