We were all sitting at the table for dinner and and laurel was complaining to Steven about him being on his phone then jere take it and throws it in the chair

"Boom nailed it !" Jeremiah said

"Nice aim" i said and picked at my food

"Okay we get u been working out "Steven said and rolled his eyes

"Ur jealous Because jere has a better body then u" belly said

I laughed and nodded in agreement

"Uh no actually it's all about the lean look now other wises u can't wear Taylor suits" Steven said

Con reaped what Steven said and we all laughed

"So what do u learn in training camp con" Steven asked

Conrad got quite

"Uh he quite football " jere said

"What u never told me that" I said looking over at con

"And u never told me where u got that from " he says as he moved my hair from the part of my neck where the hickey  was

My brother eyes widening and he got up and made his way over to me I mouthed fuck u to con because he knew where the hell I got it from

"When did u get this  where and who did it " my brother said looking horrified at the bruised on my neck

I sneaked a look at Jeremiah he was smirking

"It's not a hickey it just a Bruise I got from the curling iron " i said and moved his hand away from the spot on my neck

"Oh that happened to me before it hurted bad " belly said saving my ass

"It's just a bruise Jules " laurel asked me

"Yup just a bruise " i said  and smiled

And my brother looked at it one more time and made his way over to his seat again I looked over at Susannah she was smiling at me a little to hard like she knew something did she know something

" so con why u quite football" i said smirking at him bringing up the topic he obviously didn't wanna talk about  and they all started to talk to him about I kinda zoned out

"Wait u guys are working this summer " belly said and this made me unzoned out

"Yeah I'm a life guard and Steven working at the snack shack and  mason is a server " jere said and him and Steven fisted bump

"Oh I almost forgot belly Jules I have a surprise for u both " Susannah said and gave us these white envelope

"so this why u had to stop the the Country club " laurel said

"What is that " steven and mason asked us at we opened them

"I wrangled Jules and belly a invitation to be a debutante " Susannah

"And that the thing where girl wear white dresses and crusty "  belly said

"Like there in a Disney movie" I asked

"When a girl come to age and is presented to society I know it sound silly but I swear it fun girls come from all over New England to cousins just to be apart of it " Susannah said

I was still examining the letter from front to back

"You guys will make so many new friends " Susannah said

" I still can believe ur holding on to this archaic dream"laurel said and got up to go get something

"It used to be about finding a husband but now it about networking and Jules I know ur mom would love u to do it she did it before they teach u leader ship skills like how to market yourself and it benefits charity it's like a um bat mitzvah" Susannah said
