"Baby? What's wrong?" Minseok asks in panic, cupping Jongdae's face to make Jongdae look him in the eye, and Minseok's eyes meet beautiful, hazel irises shining into his whole being.

"Nothing.. Just.. I feel relieved, and happy, a-and secure.. with myself, with you.." Jongdae honestly says, holding Minseok's forearm. "I feel so peaceful, and I just.. I just know that no one can take you away from me.. ever."

And then Jongdae's eyes go completely white, but even when Minseok knows that this can mean Jongdae's condition is being triggered severely, Jongdae doesn't look the part. Minseok's eyelashes shake with his confusion, but what he does hope is what's happening isn't harmful to Jongdae in any way.

Jongdae is reaching out to get even closer to Minseok, gazing intently at his alpha as all the thoughts and doubts he has been having all his life dissolve into nothing, the blossom of the blissful feeling of sudden peace washing over him.

And Minseok frowns in realization when Jongdae's white eyes fade back to hazel from the pupils to the outermost and edge of his irises, like a blooming flower.

Jongdae..

"Jongdae, you just.." Minseok breathes out in disbelief, looking into both of Jongdae's eyes. "Jongdae, your condition is healed, it.. it disappeared. Jongdae—" Minseok freezes, mouth falling agape.

Jongdae intakes air sharply like he hasn't been breathing for the past few seconds. Maybe, he wasn't. But that isn't what matters to Minseok and Jongdae now.

At the sight of Jongdae nodding in confirmation from feeling it inside him, Minseok's eyes burn with tears and he quickly takes his omega into his warm embrace.

"What happened? What h-happened? Tell me, baby.. H-How? How did it disappear?"

Jongdae hiccups and buries his face into Minseok's chest. "Alpha.. y-you—"

"My mate.." Minseok sobs out and tightens his hug, one hand coming up to lovingly rub Jongdae's back. "Did alpha cause it? Did I make it disappear?"

Jongdae nods, sniffling and grabbing Minseok's clothes. "Alpha is all mine.."

Minseok bites his lower lip and nods furiously even when Jongdae doesn't see. "I am, Dae. I'm all yours. Everything that I am, is for you, omega."

Jongdae cries out and tightens his fists around the fabric of Minseok's clothes. "I'm sorry.. I'm sorry I ever doubted how much of this is mine.. I'm sorry, that before, I thought that I wasn't good enough and that if I wasn't good enough, you.. you'd choose better omegas, or betas, alphas.. over me.. I didn't see it, I didn't understand it well that.. that this was what you meant when you said you're all mine, too—l-like I'm all yours, alpha."

"Jongdae, it's okay.." Minseok reassures him. "You were thinking like that because of the condition. It was hard to believe me because your condition kept on telling you you weren't good enough.. I-I understand.."

Jongdae nods and sniffles, leaning back and looking into Minseok's eyes. "Your.. your scent only affects me.. and makes only me submit in that way.. A-And it's only my scent that arouses you a-and makes you want to claim.. a-and I'm the only omega you wanted.. A-Alpha wasn't looking for anyone anymore. You don't see even Sehun as a potential mate because you're all mine now.. You've marked me and I've marked you and—a-and you're only ever going to want me now."

Minseok can only nod at everything Jongdae says, because he's crying, forcing his vision to focus on his lovely mate when he's talking.

Finally..

"No one can take you away from me now.." Jongdae cries out. "I'm your only.. I am your mate and you're all mine. Mine alone."

"I'm yours," Minseok rasps out, and it's the instincts that makes him lean forward and claim Jongdae's lips.
