Hana submitted her report which she prepared by putting her blood, sweat and tears. As always, the lecturer congratulated that her work was the best one. Hana finished another tiring day at the university.

In spite of all the worries and hardships, she never failed to do her academic works sincerely. Also, Hana does part-time job at Mr.Lee's restaurant. As it was a small restaurant in Seoul, the salary she got was only enough to pay her apartment bills and buy her and Leah some necessities.

She was walking down the lane, thinking about the day's happenings.

"Do you think someone will be head over heels for your ugly face?"

She tried to avoid but those words just kept ringing in her ear. Hana is an iron-willed person but at times she is a bit sensitive. She had the hope that all these struggles which she is going through now will atleast make her future bright. After all, it's the small hope that makes one move forward in life.

Suddenly Hana's phone started ringing. It was Leah, her roommate. Hana picked up the call suspiciously as Leah would not call her at the specific time.

"Hello, Leah! What's-?"

"Hana, can you come to our apartment quicker?" Leah asked from the other end. Leah was tensed that Hana could sense the tension in her tone.

Hana was contemplating what the problem would be. She never lost her patience in any situation. That was one of her plus points.

"Okay, I'll be there soon. Hang on." Hana answered her roomie.

Hana quickened her pace to her apartment. The door of the apartment room was already opened and she saw a man around 60s sitting in the couch. It was no one other than the owner of the apartment building.

That's when realization hit her like a truck. She has not paid two months' rent. She did not live in a fanciful apartment but the rent was somewhat affordable to her comparing other apartments in the city.

Hana began the conversation and was searching for excuses.

"Good evening, sir. Why--?"

"You are asking why I am here, right? It's been two months since you paid your rent." Disappointment evident in his tone.

"Sir, please don't think that I forgot about it. I'll pay when I--"

"When are you gonna pay? Tell me a deadline by yourself."

"I'll pay the rent within a week, sir. But please don't ask anything about rent stuff to Leah because it's me who's giving her shelter." Hana spoke to the man with pleading eyes.

"I don't care about the dealings between you and that girl. I need only my money on time. Pay it within one week or else I myself don't know what will do." The old man warned her and left the apartment, slamming the door behind him.

Leah was kinda scared and hugged Hana. Leah was a 17 year old girl from an orphanage. Once Hana went there and she felt so pity on her, took her to her apartment and gave her shelter. Presently, she is a high schooler.

Hana comforted Leah not to worry about this issue. She was thinking about all the possible ways from which she could get money. Recently, she paid all the paycheck she got from the restaurant job to her university. Hana felt like her head is going to explode.

"From where will I get my money now?"
