Hana was totally puzzled what was happening there at the moment. She turned towards Mr Lee and gathered all her guts to speak for the first time in a while.
"Mr Lee...wh...why did he invite me to his office?"
"You just... go and visit, okay? You'll know once you get there", Mr Lee answered.
Hana stared back at the shiny visiting card in her hand and put it in her hand back confusedly.
"Hana, I want you to rest well so that it will be refreshing for you to go to the BigHit office tomorrow. So, I guess you can leave now", Mr Lee suggested her.
"But the customers... won't it be difficult for you to manage?", she interrogated, worry reflecting in her eyes.
"It won't. I'll take care of it. Good luck for tomorrow, Hana...now, off you go", Mr Lee assured her.
He just wanted her to relax well so that she will not be nervous for the next day.
Hana half-heartedly bid goodbye to Lee who stood at the doorstep with a smiling face. Though she was suspicious about why Lee did not enclose the details of her invitation to the BigHit office, she did not want to make him annoyed with her questions.
She walked slowly to her apartment building and gently opened her block. Her roommate, Leah was studying sincerely at that time and was surprised to see Hana coming back from work in a swift of time. She halted her works and rose from the study table.
"Hana, what happened? You are back so early..."
Hana did not returned from the shock yet and therefore did not reply her. She entered the room and closed the door behind her.
She plopped on the couch leaving out a heavy sigh. Leah sat beside her and of course she was puzzled about Hana's unusual arrival.
"What happened, Hana? Tell me, you are making me worry."
"It's something...unbelievable happened..."
"Unbelievable? Did you win a lottery or something?"
"No...it's something bigger than that, I guess"
"Bigger than lottery? Spill the beans now", Leah was getting impatient with Hana's suspense.
"Okay"
Hana took a deep breath and prepared herself to tell the incident which happened minutes ago.
"Listen, promise that you won't freak out"
"Okay, I promise"
"I am invited to meet Mr.Bang Shi Hyuk at the BigHit office tomorrow", Hana revealed the news calmly.
"WHAT?", Leah asked her eyes going wide.
"Yes"
"You are invited to meet him? Hana, stop fooling around... haha what happened to you?"
It was clearly evident that Leah didn't believe her.
"You don't believe me?", Hana frowned not able to digest the fact that her best roommate and only beloved friend of her was in disbelief.
"I'M TELLING THE TRUTH. WHY WOULD I NARRATE SOMETHING WHICH DIDN'T HAPPEN?!", Hana instantly realized that she raised her voice. She always used to maintain her calmness but now she was slightly annoyed by her friend.
Leah was blinking at Hana. In order to make her believe, she swayed the visiting card which Mr.Shi Hyuk gave her in front of Leah's eyes.
Leah grabbed the card and went through the details printed on it carefully. In the end, somehow she believed what Hana said was true.
"Okay, for what you've been called there?"
"I myself don't know. I'll only know when I go to the office tomorrow", Hana replied and smiled lightly.
She got up from the couch and and walked towards her wardrobe to find some formal outfits to wear the next day.
"Leah..."
"Yeah?"
"Promise me that you won't let the cat out of the bag while talking with your friends", Hana reminded her friend and displayed a faint smile.
"I won't", Leah assured her.
Hana did not want others to bother her or her friend.
"I found it", Hana told to herself when she finally found a perfect pair of clothing for the next day.
Hana spent the entire day with Leah talking and chatting with each other. She laid herself on the soft mattress imagining how the scenarios of her in the BigHit office would be.
She had no idea about the person whom she's gonna see tomorrow that will change her life upside down; of course in a positive way.
