Chapter 19: *Jake*

I loved the way this dress fit her, it was perfect accentuating every curve in the best way and I couldn't help but let my hand follow the curve of her side as I pulled her against my chest. I loved the way it showed off her long legs with the heels making her look even sexier. She was absolutely perfect and I was planning on telling her that every chance I got tonight. I wanted to make her feel extra special tonight and I made sure to have everything planned out perfectly just for my beautiful girl. "I have one more present for you, babe, "I said pulling the small black box out of my pocket and handing it to her. She looked up at me before opening it and gasping.

"It's beautiful," she said holding the necklace up to the light and watching as the rose-shaped pendant sparkled with a mixture of sapphires and diamonds. I hoped with the little note I had written her that pendant meant just as much to her as it did to me. She carefully took it out of the box holding it up to me. "Will you put it on me please?"

"Of course babe," I took the delicate chain from her unhooking it I gently placed it around her neck latching it before pressing a kiss to the side of her neck. She shivered pulling a hand up to her neck and placing it over the pendant.

"I don't even know what to say, I want to thank you endlessly, but I honestly don't have any words in my vocabulary to express what all of this means to me." I placed a finger under her chin making her look up at me.

"You don't have to say anything babe, all I want is to see you smile and be happy tonight." Then I gently kissed her tasting the strawberry lip gloss. Pulling back from her I looked her over once more knowing that I sure as hell wouldn't be able to even think about anything else tonight before lacing my fingers through hers loving the feel of her delicate hand in mine.

She was just holding her phone and school ID so I pocketed both of them for her so she wouldn't have to worry about carrying them and we walked out the door. Taking the elevator down I noticed how busy everything was tonight as two other couples got on from another floor. Belle was actively trying not to make eye contact with anyone else, but my instincts were on high alert tonight just in case. 

I normally hated going to parties, too much drinking, and too many loud noises, but I was willing to make an exception for Belle. I didn't even know if this was her kind of thing either, but I figured I would give her the option of going and hanging out with Izzy or we could ditch the whole thing and do our own thing. Either way, as long as I had her with me tonight I was more than happy to do anything she wanted. 

The other couples gave us plenty of space on the elevator straight up gawking at Belle. We were both more than happy to get out of there the second the doors opened, but I didn't miss the looks of pure jealousy on several of the people's faces in the lobby. I just pulled her a little closer wrapping my arm around her waist she smiled leaning up against me as we walked out the door.

I pulled her to the specific car I had set up that already knew everywhere I wanted to take her so that I didn't have to tell them anything and give the rest of my plans away. She looked up at me as I didn't say anything but the car rolled out of the driveway. She cocked an eyebrow at me and I couldn't help but grin at her. "I may have set a few other things up before we go to the dance."

She smiled pressing against my side as I wrapped my arm around her shoulders. "This is honestly already the best day ever so anything now is just bonus points for you." She said with a giggle and I went along with it.

"And what do bonus points get me?" 

She smiled wrapping her arms up around my neck and pulling me in for a kiss before whispering against my lips. "I guess you'll just have to find out later." Then she pulled back from me giving me a sexy little grin as we pulled up to our first destination. Getting out of the car and helping her out I walked her down a path to a small secluded little garden that I had found earlier. I led her over to a white rod iron table with a dozen blue roses and she instantly took them holding them to her chest and smiling. "How did you know these were my favorite?" She asked looking up at me as I moved to the other side of the table pulling the corsage I had made for her to match the blue rose I had pinned to my coat.
