Chapter 18

Matt's POV

I followed her to the front porch stairs. I sat next to her.
"What's wrong" I asked her
She turned to me with a tear in her face.
"I don't wanna talk about it" jasmine said looking into my eyes. Then turning.
"Well let's go on a walk and just get everything off our minds" I said as I got up.
She got up and followed. We walked a couple minutes in silence.
"I was pregnant once" she said out if nowhere.
I looked at her confused. She continued to talk.
"I was pregnant with twins actually. But my boyfriend at the time abused me. He abused me to much. To the point where he stabbed me. Stabbed me in the stomach."
She paused she was crying. I stopped and took her into a hug. She started again. While crying in my chest.
"He stabbed both of the babies I was almost due. I was having one boy and a girl. I had names pick out and everything."
"I'm so sorry." is all I could say all I could do it hug her.

We walk a little longer. We got to know more and more about each other. It was nice. I haven't felt this way about someone in a while.
We some hoe made it to the beach. And we sat in the sand. We let it run between our toes and fingers.

Matt was so cute I just don't know how to tell him...
