"Huy! Ano ka ba? Mahiya ka, ang ingay mo," Therese scolded Rex who is panting in front of him.

"Hehe, sorry po, mahal na reyna," Rex joked as he sat beside her.

"What are you doing here?" Therese asked as she is highlighting some words on her textbook.

"Ay, ganyan ka na sa best friend mo? Kaloka!" Rex replied in a gay tone which made Therese laugh.

Therese placed her pink highlighter and pinched Rex's cheeks, "Ang cute cute mo talaga, ano?" She said sarcastically and pinched Rex's cheeks harder which made him ache in pain.

"A-aray! Aray ko!" He proclaimed, "Sakit nun, ah. Jusko," Rex said as he is massaging his cheeks.

Therese flipped through the pages of her textbook, "Now, Mr. Intal, if you will just let me study."

"Che! Kaloka ka, girl!" Rex sang in gay tone once again that made Therese chuckle.

"Hoy! Alam mo, nagdududa na ako sa'yo, ah," Therese joked.

"Kelerkey!" Rex laughed, which sounded so perfect for Therese, "Sige, I have to go. My next sched pa ako, e," Rex said as he stood up.

Therese faced him, "Okay, see you, Mister!" She smiled.

"See you sa training! Bye, girl! Mwa!" Rex used his gay tone that made Therese laugh once again. She waved her hand at Rex and went back to studying.

Therese paused for a moment. Ugh, Rex. Why are you being like this? Or why the hell am I being like this? Dammit! Therese won't deny the fact that she loves Rex, more than a friend. Nahulog na ng tuluyan ang loob niya sa lalaki. She did her best to fight and crush those feelings to avoid awkwardness, and distractions, and just everything that could possibly ruin their friendship. She did, she tried, but she failed. All she could do right now is to hide her feelings for Rex. Natatakot siyang umamin kasi alam niyang maaapektohan ang kanilang pagsasama as best friends.

Therese is afraid of risking everything. Walang nakakaalam tungkol sa pagmamahal niya kay Rex maliban nalang sa kanyang sarili. Not even her teammates. Natatakot talaga siyang umamin, pero alam niya na nakakahalata na ang kanyang team. But, well, hayaan na, basta hindi siya umaamin. Alam niya kasi na once umamin na siya, everything will break loose. Hindi diretso, pero unti-unti. It's not that wala siyang trust sa kanyang teammates, but that's the fact. Everyone knows that. Kahit isang tao lang ang sabihan mo, unti-unti ng lalabas lahat. You get the jizz.

Well, who wouldn't fall for a Rex Emmanuel Intal? Some people say he's a jock, mayabang, masungit, and all those negative stuff. Well, medyo nga. But, Rex is a sweet guy. Really, he is. Mahilig siya sa mga bata and that's a one trait that captured Therese. She finds it very admiring. Guys who go well with kids. Well, every woman finds that admiring, right? Madaming nagustohan si Therese kay Rex and she couldn't list it all. All the little things that Rex does; him acting like a beast inside the court, lahat, every single thing Rex does, captured Therese. She never felt like this in a long time, going crazy about a guy. Malas niya at best friend pa niya. Mas mahirap.
