I've been working my ass out and it's draining the little energy I have , that new employee what's even that her name again ? Naz I cannot remember sha ,haven't been to work for the past three days
If not because she's good when it comes to her work I will have fired her, but I dare not to

The door clicked open and without looking I know who's trying to come in
It's my annoying best friend Bashir who came to annoy me as always

Workaholic he said sitting on a chair while facing me
Bash what? I said ignoring the fact that he called me workaholic
Let's get some ice cream he said grinning like a small child
What are you ? A child ? I said narrowing my eyes at him
I'm not a child but not only children take ice cream he said while rolling his eyes
Bash as you can see clearly I am working I said getting tired from his banters
Yes I can see,finish your work then we can go he said folding his hand like the little boy he is
Mstwwwww! I hissed facing the work I was doing before he interrupted.

I was done with the work and I stretched because I was very tired
I looked at the person in front of me who is fast asleep , a laugh escaped my lips as I was waking him up when he muttered something like "Ummi it's not even morning yet" and that's when the laugh fully escaped my lips with full force

Kaii abeg get up, carry your ass let's go and buy the ice cream is getting late,I said while slapping his head
Mstwwwww he hissed,must you use violence before waking me he uttered sending glares to me
Mallam carry your mosquito legs let us get going Baba is looking for me I said while picking the car keys

We arrived at cold stone and we went into the building to get it, I sat down while waiting for Bash to order the ice cream

Bash was back and we left since it was take away, I dropped him at home before I left to my fathers house too
Since it was already Maghreb time I just parked my car in the parking lot and went to the mosque that is inside the house

I prayed Maghreb and waited for isha to be called before I go in

I prayed Isha and I went into the house, I went to my side and quickly took a shower before I wore one of my endless jallabiya, I sprayed perfume before I wore my slippers and walked out of my apartment

I went inside the house even though it's always quite, it's not as cheery as before because my mom passed away four years ago
I prayed silently for her soul to continue to Rest In Peace , and May we all meet in Jannah firdaus

I went inside the dinning room and saw flasks, probably the food Ya mama sent because she always sends us food since mama passed away
I was grateful when I saw swallow and I ate before going to papas parlor to meet him.

Assalamu alaikum papa I said the salam before walking inside where I saw him watching the news as always
Wa'alaikum salam he answered but he still has his eyes focus on the news he is currently watching
Have a sit he said pointing to a sit and I shook my head before sitting on the carpeted floor

How old are you now Abdullahi ? He asked making my heart beat because he never calls me with that unless it's something important
