It's a double update 😌

Monday came so fast that I wanted to scream my lungs out , it's the day I've been waiting for and at the same time I don't want it
It's day I'm going to start working with the AA construction firm as an architect, yes I am a graduate and yes I studied architecture.

Hissing, I walked to the bathroom, took my bath as fast as I can because I was running late

And who wants to be late at first day at work huh ?
I brushed my long hair that I inherited from my so called mother and tied it in a messy bun
I walked to my closet and chose the outfit of the day which is "An Ankara blouse and skirt" I tied the head tie in a messy way before draping a black veil over my head

I walked out and strolled downstairs, grabbing an apple from a basket I jogged out of the house
Honking to alert the gateman to Open the gate, I roared the engine to life

Finding a space I parked my car and strolled into the AA construction firm
Heeding to the receptionist
Good day ma'am how may I help you ? She said smiling weirdly
I'm Yasmin Ahmad Saraki I said returning the smile
Ohh you're the said Yasmin she said grinning like a possessed person
By the way I am Jessica she said extending her hand for s handshake smiling weirdly

Okay! What's with her and smiling? I mentally scoffed and rolled my eyes
I accepted the handshake and smiled muttering nice to meet you Jessica

And she smiled again before saying You too!

Okay she's so weird smh

Ermm directions please? I asked standing awkwardly
Ohh sorry and she gave me the directions

Stepping out of the elevator, I looked around and everybody is busy with his/her own work
Walking further i saw the office she directed me to
Good morning ma'am I greeted the middle aged lady who is focused on the papers in front of her
Good morning dear welcome! She said smiling too much that I find it weird

What's with this people and smiling?
Thank you I said forcing a smile at her

Sir has been waiting for you, she said pointing at a door
Nodding I took gentle steps , Knocking on the door I heard a faint come in
Pushing the door I went in further and I stood there amazed as I examined the interior because it is so beautiful

You're late and you're still standing here examining the interior like the village girl you are The said man that I couldn't see spoke bringing me out from my thoughts .

Wait! What he just didn't say that !
Someone should please give me a shoe so that I could throw it directly to his mouth

Ohh yess and literally it's my first day at work
So annoying!

Before I could reply he cut me off by saying something about the secretary will show me the way to my office he said dismissing us

But i was planning on ways to kill him sha

Pushing a door open we walked inside , this is your office , the said secretary said
Thank you mrs ?
Clara she said and walked out

Making myself comfortable on the chair I set to work , I sketched and sketched , ate lunch and prayed till I no more feel my hand ,
Till it was closing time which is by 6

Way to go...

Parking the car in the garage I walked inside and jogged upstairs to my room ,I kept my items and lay down on the bed and I drifted into a deep slumber .

Waking up to the call of a prayer, I Checked the time and lo and behold it is past 8
I quickly went into the bathroom performed my ablution and prayed Maghreb and isha

After I was done praying, I fold the mat and hijab before walking out of the room and to the kitchen
I found my food in the flask which I know Maman Ummi cooked it

Maman Ummi is the mother and father figure I never had , she took care of me since I was born and she's still taking care of me
I can't deny the fact that I love her more than my own mother and father because all they  ever cared for is their precious work.

I was done eating my dinner in no time and I washed the plate before switching off all the light, I went to my room and immediately my phone started ringing
Checking the caller Id it is my brother Ya zayn who is currently working in our fathers company in England

Hey baby he said through the other side
Heyy Ya Zay I replied
I mish you I said pouting a bit like a small girl
Me too baby girl
And that's how we gist and gist till I started to feel sleepy and we bid adieu to each other before I plugged my phone to charge

Ya Zayn is the friend, best friend, father figure , my human diary that I never had
He filled the void of having a friend for me
Even though he is strict at times but he still have this soft spot for me in his heart since after what happened to me.

Bringing out my laptop out from the bed side drawer I decided to watch a bit
I watch few episodes and I started dozing off
I switched off my light said my dua before I slept.

What a day..
