Peter and Enzo were sitting in the lunch room, silently waiting for Lydia to show up "she's not coming" Enzo sighed while picking at his food "she'll show up" Peter said. She didn't show up. Enzo patter Peter's back "I told you so" Peter shaved Enzo off, the principle walked up to them. "Your uncle is here to get you two" he said bored and then left. The boys looked at each other then ran after him.
"Our uncle is dead" they said "no, your uncle from russia" he said picking him his pace "but-but...we don't have an uncle from russia?"" Peter said while scratching the back of his neck. The man sighed and shook his head but didn't say anything.
-Earlier-
Lydia woke up earlier then the boys and snuck out of the apartment, she got the location of the compound from the paper that Tony had left, she hopped over the fence and snuck into the building. Her hood was covering her face along with her hair, just in case. With her head down she headed to the elevator only to be stopped by a hand on her shoulder, she spun around and pulled off her hood. She looked up at the guy "you can't-" she placed her hand on his cheek, his eyes glossed over and her let her go.
He fall to the ground screaming, every head turned to look at the man begging and crying on the ground, Lydia slipped into the elevator and headed up to the floor that the avengers were on. The doors opened with a 'ding' she stepped out and carefully walked down the hall.
"So are you sure that they'll come?" Asked a man with blond her and blue eyes, his outfit gave him away immediately. Captain America. Walking next to him was Tony Stark "they need the to train their powers and a better place to stay, in other words, I'm sure they're going to came" he said confidently. She hid behind a chair and peered over the top "fine, I still don't think it's safe for one, and they're teenagers they're not going to listen to what we say" the captain said.
Tony sighed "listen Rogers, we can fight when they show up" captain-Rogers nodded then headed into a room, Tony stood there when went in after him. Lydia blow out a breath of relief, she looked up and saw the vents, she stood on top of the coffee table and popped the vent open, she jumped up and then placed the lid back in place. She crawled a little ways, there was voices coming from one room. She had to push herself to move on, she was here to find the lab not evesdrop.
She peeked through the vents to see what was inside the room, so far she hadn't found the lab, she went to move forward but froze when she left something touch her ankle. She looked over her shoulder and saw a man there, his face was completely serious "what are you doing kid?" He asked, before she could answer he popped open a vent and gently pushed her toward it. She looked at him "go on, and don't think about running" he warned her, she let her legs dangle out of her opening before pushing herseof out of the vent.
She leaned on the ground with a
'thud' she turned around and saw the guy standing right there "well that's not scary at all" Lydia said sarcastically, he didn't smile. He placed and tattooed hand on her shoulder and led her to the room were Rogers and Tony went into. When she opened the door every head in the room looked over at them. They looked from her to him, the man who kept coming to the sandwich shop was sitting next to Rogers, and a kid about her age sat next a woman with red hair that had a bit of blond at the bottom. The kid was a boy, he looked a lot like the man behind her just younger and tattoo-less, he saw looked a lot better.
"I found her kid, Tony" the guy said "okay, one she's not my kid, and two where did she come from?" He asked while pointing a pointer at her and the guy behind her. "you see tony when a man and woman love each other every much-" the women with red hair that was sitting next to the young boy started but was cut off by tony "that's not what I meant, how did you get here kid?" Tony asked. She shrugged the guys hand off her shoulder "you left the address on the paper you left" Lydia said while looking around the room. Tony sighed "way to go, we could of had a crowd of kids outside, Stark" said the man next to Rogers-bucky was his name.
She moved her hand to her back pocket, her eyes widened when she didn't feel her phone, she looked around to see a another girl with red hair holding up her phone with a smile "looking for something?" She asked, she a accent that Lydia couldn't quite place. Lydia reached out for it but she pulled it back "we should call someone, like your parents" a guy said, he had a lab coat on and a remote in hand. Lydia sighed, the images rushing back to her, a look of apology crossed the girls face "my parents are dead" Lydia stated. The room fall silent.
"Do you have anyone else?" Rogers asked, Lydia stated silent "I would reather they not know about this" she said with a sigh "she has two brothers" the girl holding her phone said "we should call them" the guy behind said.
-Now-
Peter and Enzo stepped out of the car. There were nine people standing outside, Lydia stood in the middle looking at the ground "what-what happened?" Peter asked while looking between his little sister and everyone else "come inside, we need to talk."
