Dragging my tired and aching body out of bed to dress in a pair of loose fitting black yoga pants, a tight white tank top, and leave my feet bare. If I have to train and work on controlling my power, I am at least going to be comfortable. We have been training for three days now, and I am physically, mentally, and emotionally drained. Stumbling down the hallway with Eilonwy walking beside me, and we hold a light conversation as we walk toward the dinning hall for breakfast.

"Did you sleep well, Prince?" Eilonwy questions politely as we traverse the corridors.

"Yeah, I did, thanks," I reply with a tired smile. "How about you, and please call me Alaska."

"I did, thank you, Alaska," Eilonwy replies with a bright smile.

"How long is training today?" I ask as we enter the dinning hall as Bronx and Eilonwy have been training me to control my power.

"We will be training for three hours today, but part of our training will consist of hand to hand combat, too," he answers with a grin at my loud groan.

Sitting down at the table, I am in between mum and Bronx with Eilonwy sitting across from me. Eilonwy grins at me with a subtle look at Bronx, and wiggling his eyebrows in a lewd manner. Ugh, I wish he would let go of the maddening thought that I have romantic feelings for Bronx.

"Oh, we are having a ball in three days on Saturday evening," King Sol comments happily with a large grin. "This ball will be your introduction to the people of the kingdom, Alaska."

Swallowing thickly against suddenly large lump that has formed in my throat as the color drains from my body as the nerves start; "Why so soon?"

"The people of the kingdom are asking to see you, and too interact with you," Queen Ensley answers with a grin. "This is needed since you will be taking over the Kingdom one day, so with this ball, you will know our people, and they will know you."

"O-okay," I answer with a small nod, trying to keep my mini freak out inside my brain, and not let it boil out of me through my mouth.

"Everything will be fine, son, I promise," King Sol encourages with a smile.

The ball is taking place tonight, and I have to train my power and in self defense in an hour for three hours, then I have to shower, and get dressed in the outfit that I was measured for two days ago. The colors I picked from the spools of fabric in the tailor room are dark purple and black. I have no clue what the outfit looks like because I didn't want to see it until I am dressing for the ball.

Rolling out of bed, I dress in a pair of grey leggings, and a black tank top after using the toilet, washing my hands and teeth, and brushing my hair, and pulling it into a tight bun at the top of my head. Leaving my room with Eilonwy walking beside me, we head to the dinning hall for breakfast. Sitting down, I am lost in my thoughts as a plate of yogurt, mixed fruit, and cottage cheese is placed in front of me. I mumble out a 'thank you,' and ignore the worried looks I am receiving from those around me.

"Son, are you alright?" Queen Ensley worriedly asks, bringing me from my spiraling thoughts of how the possible horrible scenarios that could happen tonight.

"I am fine, your highness," I respond, bringing my gaze up to her worried expression.

"I am your mother, and I expect you to address me as such, and don't lie to me," she snaps back.

"I thought we agreed that I was going to call you my parents when I am ready," I snap back, forgetting my worry about the ball.

"I am tired of waiting for you to realize we are you parents, and call us as such, and not her!" she snaps, slapping her hands against the top of the table.

Before I can control myself, I am on my feet with the palm of my left palm facing the Queen, hitting her in the chest with a surge of power. The wave knocks her and her chair backwards onto the floor with a loud thud.

"Amanda Brewer is my mum! She has loved me, raised me to be who I am today! You will stop disrespecting her and me!" I holler as Kingsley and King Sol help the Queen to her feet.

Everyone but mum and Arizona stare at me in shock as I breath heavily.

"You maybe my birth parents, but I need time to adjust and come to terms with all of this. Plus, you haven't made any attempt to know me like Sol! He is taking the time, and making the effort know me!" I growl breathing heavily.

"Alaska, you need to calm down," Bronx calmly says, coming over to me, and placing his hands on my shoulders to draw my attention to him, and away from the Queen.

"I will calm down when she actually makes an attempt to know me instead of demanding a title from me that she hasn't earned," I growl looking him straight in the eyes.

"I get what I want, when I want since I ma the Queen," she states with a slight smirk as she stands on her feet.

"No! Not this time you don't because of your title," I growl as I feel my power surging inside me again. "I am your child as you constantly remind me, and you should act like my mother, and get to know me as I am. I have done everything that has been asked of me, but you can't take the time to know me as your child!"

The smirk on the Queen's face instantly falls as she looks down as if she is ashamed, and I hope she is. Eventually I calm down, but I had to leave the dinning hall to the garden in order to do this with Arizona since mum knows what I need to do. I calm down by weeding the large garden with Arizona's help.

"Let's begin training," Kingsley states firmly, no room for argument.

"Fine," I state with a scowl at him; when the three hours have finished, I am sweating horribly while the others are sweating lightly. Walking to the entrance, I realize Eilonwy is walking next to me silently.

"Say whatever it is you are thinking," I sigh as we enter the corridor to the bedrooms.

"I am not thinking anything," he replies with a smile at me.

"Sure, you are not," I grumble as I enter my bedroom, shut the door to shower in peace.
