~chapter three~

It was a lovely day, the sun was out, no clouds. The stream was nice and loud, the castle looked brighter than ever.

I was just sitting on a hill, bandaging up a cat I has found living near the moat when I hear the emergency meeting bell.
I got up quickly and grabbed my first aid kit, and ended up bringing the cat with me.

I decided this wasn't the time to fly so I just teleported there instead. Teleporting wasn't the easiest, it took alot of energy but since this was an emergency, I thought it was worth it.

Once I got there, people we all around a certain spot which I thought was where the king was. I was correct.

In the middle of the crowd stood a tall winged man in a green suit. Clearly trying to calm everyone down.

"What happened?!"

"What's going on?!"

"Why are we here?!"

Are some questions I picked out.

The poor king was doing his best but it wasn't enough.

Once everyone was finally settled, he spoke.

"We are here today because we just have gotten a message that we never expected to get"

I could just feel the tension rise in the crowd.

He spoke again.

"We have been declared war on by the crows"

I could here curses and and gasps and quiet sobs.

I wasn't worried. I was a medic, a very talented warrior, and I could rude a dragon,a horse, and a sea monster. So I was fine.

"I have decided to tell everyone that a few people will be hand picked from this crowd to fight."

He started listing names, it had been a little but when he got to the last 7, I started listening.

"Glory"
Not me..
"Alice"
Not me either.
"Ivory"
Cmon..
"Moon"
Please..
"Zero"
Not me..
"Ira"
Not me..
"Dawn"
Thank God.

I was very relieved. I had been dying to be able to go to battle for awhile. To say the least, I was exited.

"If I called you, please meet at the palace at 10:30 sharp."
