Our blades danced together as I struck the crow soldier.

We moved our feet in rythm which gave me an opportunity to break that pattern.

He fell to the ground.

I put my sword blade at his chest and stabbed him in the heart. Making a sickening crunch sound.

In the corner of my eye I saw everyone stop.

Iras POV

All I feel is sadness. I know what I had to do.

As I walk up the stairs, I saw everyone stop.

Ivory's POV

They stopped for a second. Clearly rethinking but continued anyway.

At the top of the staircase was sheep dude. I later learned that his nane was Sylvian.

He stood still holding his hand out, like that was the only thing not causing to jump out and attack Ira.

Me and zero glanced at each other zero nodded and we moved towards dawn.

Eventually we were walking behind Ira.

Ira got to the top of the staircase looking at Sylvian.

Iras POV

With tears in my eyes, I reach the top.

I look behind me to see my friends.

The people who stood up for me. The people who had saved me all these years. The people I met in a bar.

They were all there.

Only then did I realize how much these people mean to me.

I turned back to Sylvian.

It will all be over soon.

Ivory's POV

Ira turned back to us once more and sent me a message through telekinesis.

There is tnt all around me right now. I need you to plant a lever connected to the wire. I need you to trust me.

That's what I did.

In secret of course.

I want you to know I love you I always will. I always have.

By the looks of it everyone else got this message too.

Ira took their hand and took of Sylvians mask and threw it to moon.

Tears fell down their face.

What's happening?

Sylvian spoke calmly.

"Choose wisely Ira"
He said.

"Me, the person who gave you shelter or them"

He pointed at us.

"The ones who only cared when you were there. The ones who made you a servant. The ones who abandoned you"

No one spoke a word.

Ira then sent another message.

Now.

I jumped and flicked the lever.

It took a second for it to react. But in that short time. So much happened..

As soon as I did Ira hugged him.

Tears streaming down their face.

They pulled out saphora's long dagger and stabbed Sylvian in the back. Penetrating both of their bodies.

One last message was sent.

I love you. Never forget me..

Saphora screamed
"IRA NO"

The explosion went off.

After the smoke cleared, we saw big beautiful wings layed out perfectly behind two bodies.

Sylvian.
And Ira.

"IRA!"
Saphora cried.

"WHAT- WHAT HAPPENED?"
Zero screamed.

I was speechless. All I could do was cry.

We all ran over there.

The person I loved so much as a freind. The person who helped me. The person who loved everyone. The one who was innocent. Dead.

"NO! WHY?"
Saphora cried into Iras chest.

Ira had died.
Ira died for their kingdom.
For their hope.
For their freedom.

Only one person from the dark kingdom had died that day.

And that person was one of the only people Saphora cared about.
