Kayla told him to be at her house at seven thirty or else. At first he hesitated but he didn't want Kayla to go tell Meagan some shit that she didn't wanna hear. He dialed her number. Her phone rang several times. She never picked up the phone. He called her again and she still didn't pick. After school he called her again. She picked up this time but as he was about to answer the phone Kayla came up to him.
Kayla: who's that?He hanged up the phone.
Mario: nobody. why?
Kayla: Oh nothin' just askin. don't forget. seven thirty.Meagan called him back but he ignored the call. Later in the day it was almost seven thirty and Kayla was at home with her parents gone waiting on Mario to come over. She heard a knock on the door. She looked at herself in the mirror to see if she looked good. She only had on a big t-shirt and some panties on. She answered the door.
Kayla: you're on time.Mario looked around and then looked at her.
Mario: I can't do it....I ain't gone do Meagan like that. *shakes his head*He walked away from the door and left. Kayla shut the door and grabbed her phone and called Meagan;
Meagan: Hello?

Meagan throws her phone on the floor and breaks down. At the moment she heard Mario's ringtone, she ran to the phone and answered with the plan to curse him out.
Meagan: What the hell do you want from me?!

They hang up.

2 minutes later: *Mario's calling*
Meagan: What?!!!

The next day at school Meagan passed right by Mario in the hallway.
Mario: *grabs her arm* Meagan, where you going?
Meagan: Uh, to class...let me go
Mario: No. *pulls her closer and hugs her tight*
Meagan: Let me go!!!

Lebron sees Meagan and Mario having problems from a distance, so he decides to do something about it.

Lebron: What's goin' on here? *smirking*
Mario: None of yo fuckin' business!
Lebron: He giving you problems meagan?Meagan nods.
Lebron: She don't want you nigga, leave her alone
Mario: *lets go of Meagan and gets in Lebron's face* You got 5 fuckin' seconds to leave.
Meagan: *gets in between them* Both of you stop, I don't want neither one of you, okay?!

Later that day: *Meagan's doorbell rings*
Ms. Smith: *opens the door* Hey Mario, wassup?
Mario: Is Meagan here?
Ms. Smith: Yes...does she know you're here?
Mario: Uh...naw...I'm tryna surprise her
Ms. Smith: Okay...come in.
Mario walked towards Meagan's room and found her dancing in the middle of the room. He leaned in the doorway and waited for her to turn around. He just smiled as he watched her body move side to side in rythm to the music like a gypsy. The way she moved put spells on him and he felt himself becoming a little tipsy. She turned in a circle and almost dropped her ipod. She snatched her headphones out her ear.
Meagan: What the fuck??How'd you get in here?
Mario: Uh your mom let me in...Meagan was about to storm out the room to confront her mom but Mario stopped her. He looked her in the eyes.
Mario: Can you just hear me out real quick?Meagan crossed her arms.
Meagan: you got five minutes. So you better start talkin'.
Mario: I know what Kayla told you. and Meagan I swear to you she's lying. If I was lying I would shoot myself right now but I'm not. I told you I loved you from the beginning and I meant It. I ain't tryin to hurt you. Meagan wanted to believe him. But why would her bestfriend lie to her?
Meagan: How I know you ain't lyin?
Mario: What I got to lie about? I been real with you from the beginning.He came closer to her and kissed her passionately on her lips. She closed her eyes and felt herself fallin' in love again. He pulled out something from his pocket. It was a heart shapped locket. He handed it to her. She opened it, and inside of it was a picture of her and him kissing during a smile. Carved on the locket read "My Hearbeat"
Mario left but came back later that night and took her out to the movies. After the movies He took her to the rooftop of an apartment building. She had no clue why he was taking her there.
Meagan: Alright, why we here?
Mario: I just wanted to sit her and talk.They sat on the edge of the building. They had a perfect view of the bright lit moon. She moved over closer to him and leaned her head onhis shoulders.
Meagan: Bae do you think we would last forever?Mario looked down at her, she looked back at him.
Mario: Yes why?
Meagan: I don't know..just thinking. They sat there and talked about their futures, about their past, what they wanted from each other. They talked about anything and everything until sunset. She fell asleep on his lap. He carefully got up and picked her up, took her back downstairs to the car and took her home.
The next night:*Over the phone*
Meagan: Mario...
Mario: Yes beautiful?
Meagan: Wanna come over?
Mario: This late?
