AVIA'S POV
I heard mom and dad yelling and screaming at each other. This has been happening a lot lately.Maybe it's because the kids and I are getting older.I'm 14.Gavin's 16.Emmi's 12.Brock's 10.And Daxton's 8.Since we are older now we need a lot more.Mom is always telling dad that we need more toys.Dad thinks that we are fine with everything we have.Brock gets very upset when they fight. He has a lot of panic attacks.Emmi, Daxton, and Gavin are fine about it.They say it's normal.I on the other hand resort to isolation. When ever I hear yelling I run downstairs and lock my self in the bedroom.Right now mom and dad are yelling about divorce.

COLETTE'S POV
"Shay this isn't working out anymore."I
cried.
"What do you mean?"Shay questioned.
"I already had divorce papers sent to us."I cried.
"Colette we didn't agree on this!"Shay screamed.
"Well I did!We have been fighting non stop for 2 months."I sighed.
"You're right.I don't know why I ever married you."Shay said.
"I agree.I will live here. You move out and take Gavin and Brock!I will keep Daxton, Avia, and Emmi."Colette demanded.
"Fine, I will live in the California apartment."Shay sighed then he stormed out of the house.
What I didn't notice was that Avia instead of hiding, was watching from the living room couch.
She was hysterical.
"Avia get over here.Now."I called.
"Yes mom."she responded sheepishly.
"How much did you hear?"I asked while crossing my arms.
"Enough to know that you and dad are getting divorced."she teared up.
"Honey.I'm so sorry.We just weren't working out anymore."I said.
"So that's it.Gavin and Brock are just going to be taken away from us?"Avia cried.
"I'm sorry, it just has to be like this."I comforted her.
"Do you not like them?"Avia asked.
"Of course not, their my sons I just thought it would be better if the boys went with dad."I spoke.
"What about Daxton?"Avia questioned.
"Avia enough of these questions!"I hollered.
Avia ran away crying.I never yelled at her like that. What is wrong with me?
