Chapter 10

AVIA'S POV
Mom panicked and ran towards the kitchen for her phone.As she was running Adam tackled her.
"MOM!"Gavin yelled.
Maybelle cut his arm with her knife.
"I would shut up.BABE!"she laughed.
I tried to run to mom but Adam pointed the gun at her head.
"I would move back Avia."he threatened.
"So you weren't lying Avia."Gavin turner and liked at me.
I nodded my head.There was a knock at the door.It was Grandma and Grandpa with the kids.Adam loaded the gun and gave it to Maybelle.
"Anyone mentions this Mckenzie and Daxton die."he snarled.
He picked mom back up and they walked to the door.

COLETTE'S POV
Adam was holding on to my hand very tightly.He thought I would say something that would get him away.UGGH!He is such an ass and so is his bitchy daughter.I can't believe this.When Shay hears-that's it,Shay.I have to find a way to talk to him.Oh crap in zoning out again.
"Colette I am going to open the door.Remember do not say ANYTHING."he emphasized the word anything.
I opened up the door Daxton ran in.
"MOMMY!"he hollered.
Adam shot me a look.I laughed nervously and picked him up.
"Woah my little 8 year old is getting big."I giggled.
Emmi and Brock walked in.Emmi was carrying Mckenzie.Adam smiled when he saw her.I looked back at Maybelle.She was rubbing her knife.
Grandma walked in.She hugged me and kissed me.Even though she is Shays mom she still talks to me.
"Oh who is this gentlemen?"she reached out her hand.
Adam shook her hand.
"I'm Colette's boyfriend Adam.Thats my daughter Maybelle."he gestured backwards.
She put her knife in her back pocket and waved.Grandma waved back and left.

EMMI'S POV
Avia told me all about Adam and Maybelle.I held Mckenzie tightly to my chest.Brock and Daxton were about to run to Avia and Gavin.I put my arm out and they stopped.
"Emmi we want to see Av and Gav."Brock whined.
I shook my head and teared up.This made Brock stop.Maybelle walked over to me.I stepped back and so did my little brothers.
"Hey.I'm Maybelle."she smiled.
She reached for my hand,but I pulled back.
"Stay away.Avia told me all about you BITCH!"I scolded.
Daxton gasped because I cursed.He was about to say something when I shot him a look.
"Oh I would watch your mouth Emmi."she shouted.
She took her knife and cut my wrist.I flinched and my grip on Mckenzie loosened.Maybelle ripped her right out of my arms.
"NOOO!"mom screamed.
