Chapter 9

MAYBELLE'S POV
I went to check on Avia.She was laying I'm bed with a blanket over her.She must have woken up already.I shook her shoulder.
"Wake up little brat."I whispered.
She jumped and I pushed her on off the bed.
"Why are you still here?"she snapped.
"Didn't you here?My dad and I moved in."I laughed.h
She got off the floor and ran out of the room.Since I threatened her she didn't think to tell anyone.Today the rest of the kids are coming home.I am so excited to see little newborn Mckenzie.A little tiny baby.She is probably so fragile.

GAVIN'S POV
Avia has been acting weird lately.She always blames Maybelle when she gets hurt.Anyway,the kids are coming home today.I really want May to meet my siblings.She seems really excited to see them.
"Hey babe.Are you excited to meet newborn Mckenzie Elizabeth?"I asked.
"Of course."she kissed me then walked to my mom.

COLETTE'S POV
Maybelle looked very concerned.So I walked over to her.
"What's wrong honey?"I questioned.
"Well,I know I have been living here for about two hours,but where am I going to stay?"she asked.
"Oh!That reminds me.Avia come in the living room!"I giggled.
"What?"she walked in.
She stopped short when she saw May.This made me nervous.I just shook it off.
"Can Maybelle live in your room?"I asked.
She nodded.I saw a tear roll down her face.Maybelle must have saw because she got up and walked to their room with Avia.She looked back at me and sighed.I saw her mouth something.
"Help."she whispered.
Now I knew something wasn't right with Maybelle or even Adam.Right before Avia and May went downstairs I grabbed Avia.Maybelle gasped.
"What the hell did you do to her!"I snapped.
She didn't hesitate to speak back.
"I threatened her with this."she smiled.
She ripped a knife out of her pocket.I screamed and pushed Avia behind me.Adam heard my scream and ran in.He saw that Maybelle had the knife out.
"Oh.So you know now."he smirked.
Gavin came running upstairs.
"Mom what-?"he stopped short.
Maybelle whipped her head around.She dropped the knife.
