Telling People My First Day Of Quitting:
I live on a street where everybody says they're better than everyone else in this world. My life is not one to be proud of. I'm sitting in the waiting room at my therapy office. My four workbooks in my lap.
"Tessa!" I heard someone call my name. I looked up and waved at my mom. I walked through the hallway admiring the small paintings and pictures that are hung on the wall. I stopped at door 8.
I knocked. "It's Tessa!"
"Come in." A muffled reply came my way.
I jiggled the door knob and opened it up. "Hi."
"Hi! You must be Tessa." The therapist said.
"Yeah, that's me." I smiled as she handed me a form.
"I'm Gina Wilson." She smiled.
I looked at the form and I blanched.
-New Client-

-New Client-My face fell as I looked at Miss Wilson. "Why?!" I blurted out. "Why am I here!?"
"Tess. Your mother wants you here." Miss Wilson said gently.
"Don't call me Tess. It's Tessa-Grace to you." I hissed.
"Calm down. Do you have anger problems?" Miss Wilson asked me.
Tears blurred my vision as I sat down on the couch in her office. "No."
"Ok. I'll ask you some basic questions. I want you to answer them." She asked.
"Fine." I said quietly.
"What is your favorite color?" She nodded as I opened my mouth.
"Red." I sniffled and I lowered my head as the voice came back.
"Hey! You okay?" Miss Wilson lifted my head up.
"Fine and I'm leaving." I said and scurried out of the room like someone fleeing of the Titanic.
"Tess!" The familiar voice of my best friend sounded.
I looked up and ran down the hallway into the waiting arms of my best friend. "Maia."
"What's up with you?" Maia asked.
"Demons." I said flatly.
"Oh you. It's all in that pretty little head of yours." Maia asked me.
"Pretty?" I laughed.
"Tessa-Grace! You're beautiful. Stop saying stuff like that." Maia said and led me to her car.
"Maia?" I asked.
"Hmm?" She looked at me.
"Mall?" I asked and looked at Maia's grey eyes.
"Mall!" Maia yelled and drove to the mall.
"Ok....." I looked around for a parking spot. "There! I yelled.
"Crap!" Maia yelled as a car took the parking spot I saw.
"Park." I demanded as soon as I saw a parking spot near the one I saw earlier.
"Ok." Maia mumbled as we parked.
"Let's go." I said.
