Senior year is finally here for the lovely Scarlett Delmonico, she had the time of her life last year with all the ups and downs.
But at least she finally understood the reference "You have to go through hell to get to heaven."

~ Scarlett's POV ~
Today was the twins's birthday, I had just finished taking a shower and was now walking back to my bedroom when i began to hum 'Until I Found' by Stephen Sanchez since it reminded me of Jaden and I. A lot of songs have been reminding me of Jaden and I, I guess when you're in love with someone almost every song you ever hear will remind you of them or the relationship you have with them.
I got dressed and did my hair, sometimes i didn't believe in forever considering there would be people to stand by your side for that long which is why they always leave. I couldn't believe in forever because as much as it's hard to believe it, nobody could really stand to be around me for that long and I know it sounds pick me girl-ish but everyone has that feeling.
When i finished getting dressed, I sighed in the mirror and smiled, i was beginning to love the way I looked and starting to be more comfortable with my body. Destroying myself to have other people love me was the most difficult thing i have ever done to myself, I regret it every day and every single night of my life because I should've been happy with my body but I wasn't.
Every day and every night the memories come back just to haunt me, it's sort of like a punishment for even considering such thing, I just haven't told anyone yet because I didn't want or need anyone else getting more worried about me. The questions of me being okay, the messages to show that they care for me, the random calls to make sure that I'm not doing anything I'm not supposed to was getting annoying already but I know i can't get mad at anyone, it was the consequences of my own actions.
After admiring myself in the mirror, i grabbed my purse and placed my charger, phone, airpods and other essentials that I might need at the birthday party. I turned my lights off and closed the door, i started locking my bedroom door everytime i would leave in case someone wanted to go snoop in it.
I was a little paranoid but i would rather be safe than sorry, besides it's not like you couldn't be too careful around here. Just because crime rates are low doesn't mean that there's a zero percent chance of it happening here, also the main thieves always steal from family before stealing from strangers.

I had black heels on, I walked down the stairs and waited for my parents to come downstairs along with my little brother so that we could go to Waltons for the party. When they finally came downstairs they looked fantastic, I grabbed Atlantis and we walked out of the house and walked to my dad's car.
I got to the back seat and buckled Atlantis into his car seat and then got in myself, i put my seatbelt on and then out my airpods. The only thing that was on my mind as we drove to the party was still the wedding, I had the presents for the boys in the trunk before anyone asks me.
When we arrived to the Waltons, I got out of the car and walked over to the driver's side to get Atlantis out of his car seat. The minute i got him out, i walked to the door and knocked waiting for Jessica to open up so she could take him from me.
Jessica happily took my baby brother and hugged me, I walked to the car and grabbed the gifts from the trunk before walking inside to go see my best friends and boyfriend. I don't want people getting confused on why I keep calling Jaden my boyfriend if he's my fiance, so I'll explain it right now before anyone asks.
I call him my boyfriend because fiance doesn't really sound right for me, I've said it one time out loud and for nasty looks from a bunch of older people. Like I said before, i shouldn't care about what anyone says but it does make me feel bad about myself which is something hardly anyone understands.
When i walked inside, i immediately ran over to the backyard and hugged Jaden. I could feel the smile begin to stretch on his face as he hugged me back, I kissed his cheek and wished him a happy birthday before hugging Javon.
"Y'all are for real old now, eighteen? Damn."
I teased before hugging Delilah and Xiomara, Rosalía ran over and jumped into my arms which made me laugh. I hadn't seen her in a while, after a bit of holding her, she got down and ran back to Daelo who is her boyfriend by the way.
It's just puppy love right now so nobody had the heart to tell them their relationship isn't really real and it's just play pretend, they hold hands and hug but they don't kiss. While the music played in the background, we were stuffing our faces with food and drinking caprisuns like there was no tomorrow.
That's when there was a small argument that broke out, i turned around and found Rosalía yelling at some teenage girl. Xiomara and I exchanged looks before walking over quickly, I grabbed Rosalia's hand and glared the girl before asking Rosa what happened.
"I bumped into her on accident and she began to scream at me like a banshee."
Rosalía explained herself, she was a mini version of Xiomara by the way. Although the two weren't actually biological sisters, they were twins just different versions.
"She began to say mean things to me Xio.."
Rosa whispered to Xiomara's ear, I was closer to them and was able to hear what she said to Xiomara and you can see Xiomara get visibly angry. I'm not gonna lie, i was excited to see my best friend explode on this girl.
"Only I'm allowed to bully my little sister, watch your mouth."
Xiomara threatened before shoving the girl and walking away, I chuckled and stuck up my middle finger before grabbing Rosa's hand. Other than the little altercation with the girl, the party ran smoothly and it turned out to be a great distraction from the wedding.
I got compliments on my dress and heels which made me feel a lot better about myself, Jaden kept me by his side at all times which was something that gave me a lot of butterflies. I love being around my boyfriend, I love everything but he's something or more specifically someone that i need in my life.
