I woke up to my bed feeling empty with a familiar feeling of being alone

I get up looking at the time realizing I have to help with debutante thing they asked me to be a big sister even though I've never done they said that susannah recommended me since they were a little down on staff so I won't just be a big sister I'll be helping around and stuff while getting paid too

I get up and pick out what I wanted to wear out of my dresser wanting more of a nice look we'll atleast nicer then what's infront of my face right now god I need actually good looking clothes

I eventually decide on this tight black dress its classy and makes me look good as well i curled my hair and did a little makeup you know big first impressions and all

And it sure looked nice

I walk down the stairs entering the kitchen "hey rory" jeremiah says not paying attention and he's looking at the stove "good morning" I answer back leaning on the counter towards belly 

"Are you okay bells?" I ask looking at her bruise god that's got to hurt "Rory what happened to your hand?" My mom ask lookin at my right hand on the counter as my knuckles are bruised and a little scabby "that guys face happened" Steven said laughing as I glare at him I'm still angry at him for what he did "can't just keep your mouth shut can you Steven always have to talk about other peoples business?" I say obviously making it clear I wasn't talking about my hand

"Look I'm sorry ok I didn't mean to say that out loud" Steven said looking at me as I scoff he can't be serious can he "what?what happened?" My ask looking at us "Steven had told a secret of mine to basically everyone who could hear him at the bonfire" I say sitting down and the table behind my mom with my arms crossed "did you really Steven? Mom ask in a serious tone looking over at him "it was an accident" Steven says raising his arms up defensively

"Accident my ass" I remark scrolling through my phone "hey you want breakfast rory?" Jeremiah ask me softly as if I was about to break as he leans on the back of my chair towering over me as he stares at me with his Ivey blue eyes which kind of scare me if I'm being honest "would you mind getting me some cereal?" I say with a smile "yea no problem" he says going to get me my cereal as I see Steven staring at us as well as Conrad I scoff looking back at my phone god they always have to look at me like I'm about to bomb the place

"Oh my god" we hear susannah say from the next room "belly is gonna be a debutante" she says now infront of us smiling like a kid who just got a bucket of candy

"It's really not that big of a deal" belly says as susannah gives her a big hug I quickly look at the bowl infront of me full of captain crunch "so are you gonna visit me at work today" jeremiah ask me with that big white smile he has "maybe what will you get me if I do?" I say returning the smile in a playful matter "whatever you want" he said getting closer to me still smiling I turn away rolling my eyes smiling while I scroll through my Instagram feeling a pair of eyes on me knowing it was Conrad I look back at him seeing something in his eyes something I've never see before when he looks at me

Jealousy

"Oh and have you thought about who's going with you to the ball rory?" Susannah ask my with a smile "why don't you ask jeremiah?" Conrad says with bitterness in his voice "yeah and why don't you go and ask Nicole" I bite back at him as he scoffs at me looking back at the floor man what the fuck is up with him and more especially me

"Now which one of you is gonna be belly's escort to the ball?" Susannah ask

"Not me I went last year" Conrad says "yeah and I swore off balls" jeremiah says leaving belly with no body well maybe that cam Cameron boy she was talking too last night

"Wow guys stop fighting over me" belly says sarcastically "I'll take you" I say leaning over to her on her shoulder "no offense but I'm not going with my twin sister rory" she says looking at me "well fine be alone then" I say getting up pouring my milk out soon being stopped by jeremiah who starts chugging down the milk from the bowl then putting it in the dishwasher "I'm going for a swim" Conrad says going out the door

I decide to follow him outside as I see him take his shirt off jumping into the pool as I take my shoes off and dip them in the water as I don't have to be at the club until a few so I have time "what are you doing out here?" He ask me swimming closer to me mimicking what I was doing last night

"Just wanted to check up on you" I say swinging my feet back and forth in the water "well I don't need checking up on" he said squinting at the sun I'm his eyes "didn't seem like it in there" I say with no emotion in my face as I look at him "what the hell was that jeremiah shit?!" I ask with my voice raised a little in anger "could ask you the same about Nicole" he says swimming closer "you started it" I say looking down at him as his "you continued it" he says swimming even closer "why'd you look at me like that when me and jeremiah was talking" I ask as he puts his hands on my thighs resting his head on one of his hands looking up at me same as I did the other night  "you looked the same way when you saw me kissing Nicole" he said back "what are you implying?" I ask getting lost in his eyes again before jeremiah walked through the door as we both look at him breaking away from what once was

"You coming with us rory?" Jere ask looking between me and Conrad "yea I'm coming" I say not giving Conrad another look before grabbing my shoes and walking into the house
