"dru martinez is texting me about you and you're talking about volley ball?" Taylor questions my sister as I tie my hair back

"Who's that?" I asked as I watch Taylor sigh "goodness there is no hope for either of you" she states

"Dru doesn't care if I'm there or not he just wants an excuse to text you" belly says as she folds a green shirt

Don't get me wrong I'm excited to go see the boys and susannah but me and belly have changed a lot and I don't want anything weird to happen especially with what did happen last summer

I've been down a rabbit hole of depression ever since the incident but the only things keeping me going is this summer and my family including Taylor

I really hope nothing changes this summer

"Rory are you there?" Belly ask me as she waves her hand in my face "huh what happened?" I ask looking up at her

"What bathing suit are you bringing?" Taylor ask "oh the same one from last year" I answer going back to scrolling on my phone "really the one piece with the hole in the shoulder?" Taylor ask in disbelief

"What it holds, sort of" I say uneasy looking at her for a moment

"We'll maybe try buying one that doesn't seem like you're trying out for the swim team" Taylor says smiling "wow alright" I say as my and belly tackle her smiling and laughing

I'll miss this but I know that we're going to see her soon

"Guys we're leaving in 10 minutes" my mom says
