I Scream, You Scream, We All Scream to be in Dabi's Dream!

The Fox and the Hare: 1

"Waaahhhh! Damn it, Dabi! You long-eared asshole!!!" You screech as you look up from the muddy pit. The very same one you had dug to catch that devious hare, Dabi. Said hare peeks down at you from the edge of the pit with amusement in his eyes and a smirk on his face.

"Should've known better, Foxy." Dabi coos down at you.

"Just get me outta here!" You pout with cute little scowl on your face.

"Hmmmm...I don't know, Foxy. I feel like you won't improve if I just help you. You got into this pit, you get yourself out." Dabi stands back up and proceeds to walk on his merry way while whistling.

You stare up out of the pit in utter disbelief. Your mouth slack and your eyes staring daggers. How dare he just walk off on you like that!? You're covered in mud and there is nothing for you to grab onto to pull yourself out with. You were truly stuck.

You start to clean the mud off your arms when suddenly, a large thick branch is dropped in beside you. Startled, your beautiful black and white tail puffs out to make you seem bigger. Jerking your head up, you see Dabi's back walk away.

"Thanks..." you mutter like a brat, but you know Dabi heard you since you could hear him snickering. Pulling yourself up from the pit with the help of the branch, you stand there for a moment just watching Dabi walk down the hill.

An adorable blush covers your cheeks and your eyes take on a pining glaze as the black-furred hare continues his descent to wherever. Haaa! You had it bad for the bad boy. Your ears turn backwards and lay low on your head. A huff escapes your plump pink lips before snapping out of it.

"I'LL GET YOU YET, RABBIT!!! JUST YOU WAIT!" You yell in excitement only to see Dabi wave his hand in the air as if to say "yeah, yeah." Damn, you really liked him.

Turning around, you start the long trek back to your den and back to the drawing board. Making your way there, you unfortunately pass by two red foxes. They snicker and whisper loudly at your pitiable self. You weren't exactly liked in your community. Why? Simple.

You were born to a pair of red foxes. You were their only child, since they were forbidden to have anymore after you. Instead of being a beautiful red like your parents, you were born black and white. Another "flaw" was that you only had one pointy ear that stood up, the other flopped over like a dog's.

Your parents were forced to the edge of the fox territory when they refused to just abandon you to the forest as a newborn pup. You were and still are bullied for how you look, but you wont let them hurt your pride. You love your coat and its fluffy tail.

This partly comes from your parents telling you that your coat looks like a piece of the night sky was plucked right from the heavens to make your fur. As a young pup, you believed them since that is truly what your coat looks like, an inky black background with twinkling white diamonds scattered across it.

You hold your head up high changing into your fox form to get back faster. You didn't like the feel of the mud drying to your fur. You were faster than most and more agile too, so the trip back seemed like a blur.

After your bath, you brush your hair and tail. You wanted to have fur as soft as a rabbit's after all. You then make a quick snack, but as you look around your tiny den, melancholy hits you hard. You should already have a mate by now, and maybe even little pups of your own. Sadly, no male fox wants the "freak."

You are like a white crow. Even after surviving all those hardships growing up, you will remain unwanted and alone for the rest of your life. You huff another breath, a determined gleam in your eyes and a hard set to your jaw.

No! You won't be alone, you refuse to be! That's why if no idiot male wants you from the fox clans, then you'll just have to get a mate from another clan...even if he is not a fox at all!
