Forbidden desire (Toji x reader)

Chapter 4

As soon as I got out of the shower, my phone rang and I ran to it to see who it was. It was Megumi. Right, how could I forget about him? I hope nothing happened to him. I answered the call.

y/n: ,,Hello, u alright? Where have you been?"

M: ,,Hi, yeah I'm fine. I'm so sorry that I couldn't call you back but there has been a complication with my dog at the vet and my phone died. I hope you weren't waiting too long for me."

y/n: ,,Oh I see. Well I was kinda worried because it's not like you to forget about someone and ignore your phone calls but I'm good. Was a bit cold tho."

M: ,,Really sorry. Did you have to take the bus after all?"

Shit. Should I tell him. Can't be that bad.

y/n: ,,Nooo, luckily I had someone who was passing by coincidence and this person got me home."

I paused for a short moment.

y/n: ,,It was your dad."

M: ,,..."

y/n: ,,You still there?"

M: ,,Yeah, it- just- seriously? He's a jerk. I don't believe that he was passing by coincidence, I bet he's up to something. Probably wants to drive away all of my friends or some shit."

y/n: ,,There wasn't any other possibility since I was drenched in rain and it honestly didn't seem to be any act of malice."

M: ,,Guess I'm to blame too. I also have to make an effort to get along with him, since he's going to stay a bit longer this time. Apparently he's got some business going on."

y/n: ,,Really!? Guess that sucks for you. But you could try and see it as a chance to get rid of some unresolved tension between you two."

M: ,,We'll see about that. Anyways gotta go to bed, so see ya tomorrow. G'night."

y/n: ,,Okay, me too. Good night."

I was standing in front of my bathroom mirror, wearing a towel with still dripping hair. I placed my hand on the shoulder that had been touched by Toji earlier. Hearing that he's going to stay for a bit made me oddly glad.

The week was passing by as always, until Friday came along. That's when Megumi came up to me with a request. He sort of got into an argument with his dad, in which he claimed that he would never be a good father, even if he seriously tried to be one. His dad, of course, didn't let that untreated and said that he is awesome in everything when he's serious about it and there's nothing he can't do. Well long story short, they made a bet if Toji is really capable of being a good parent or not. The goal for him is to be someone who's worthy being called a parent until his business here is finished and he leaves. Hovewer if he loses, he has to pay Megumi a huge amount of money. These are the rules.
As a first act to be a good parent, Toji chose to plan a trip to the woods with his son to do some .. camping. Don't know if this is the best idea but who am I to judge?

Since Megumi wasn't really into doing some stuff with his dad alone, he begged me to come along. I couldn't let my friend hanging so I agreed, although I felt a bit nervous that I would see Toji again and spend a whole day with him and Megumi.

They came to my house to pick me up and we headed to the woods. It was actually pretty nice there and I enjoyed the scenery. Large trees were streching into the sky, with small rays of sun shining through. After a few minutes of walking, Toji stopped and announced that this was our place for the night. Soon, we began unpacking all the supplies for our camp and I watched the boys set up their tents. I was following their movements and saw how Toji unpacked his tent with his strong arms. You could see all the veins that drove from his fingers to his elbow and with every move he made, his veins were being slightly pushed by his muscles. I felt something in me twitch and I realised that I was literally starring. No no no stop. I can't do this, it's wrong. I quickly shook my head to get rid of the thoughts and when my mind came back to the situation I realized something worriesome.

y/n: ,,Where is the third tent?"

M: ,,You didn't bring one?"

y/n: ,,No, I don't even have one. I thought you'd bring one for me since you invited me."

M: ,,Well obviously I didn't, sorry."

Toji: ,, So what? She has a sleeping bag right? As long as it's not raining..she can sleep under the sky."

While pausing, Tojis eyes slowly moved to my chest, a sly expression on his face. I immediately understood what he implied with that and I was too embarrassed to reply to his slightly rude comment. Megumi answered with an irritated voice:
,, No she will not. Bugs get a real pain in the ass at night and a tent is like the only small protection you have, while sleeping in the woods. Y/n you'll sleep with me in my tent. It's big enough. "

Toji's smile from before dropped and he turned around to continue what he was doing with a blank face. I didn't mind sharing a tent with Megumi since we are really close and we really have enough room in there. Plus I wouldn't have to deal with creepy bugs at night.
Soon it became darker and our spot was almost completely prepared. Toji walked through our camp and stopped beside me. While looking down he spoke with a commanding voice:

,,You come with me. We need wood for the fire."
