+++++++++ When we got to our classes everything just went by in a blur. Everyone in the class had to introduce themselves I was the last one I could see Niki staring at me with a straight face.
Feeling his eyes burn into my head I have to hold the hem of my skirt so I can focus and not embarrass myself. I quickly introduce myself. You know the basic "My name is (Y/N), my favorite color is white, please take care of me."
Sitting back down in my seat, I took a deep breath and started writing down my notes. Luckily from what it seems, I know most of what the teacher is teaching. So I already had everything written down from summer school.
I pick up my pencil but not for notes this time. I doodle away and slowly zone out.
"- N), (Y/N)"
"Hmm?" I let out as the cafeteria comes into my view.
"I've been calling you but you just keep on staring at your food," Sunghoon says while giving me a worried look. I look around to see that I am sitting next to Sunghoon and Jungwon the rest of Enhypen sitting beside us.
"Huh, sorry," I say quietly.
"Oh no!" Sunghoon says dramatically "Have you finally gone insane?" I hear a scoff coming from the far end of the table coming from Niki which may or may not have annoyed me just a little.
Taking a deep breath I calm down just enough to take a peek in his direction. He sat with his chin resting in his hand a confident aura radiating off of him. Our eyes met and he frowned in response. I gave a straight face which must have annoyed him, he let out a breath and turned his head.
Sunghoon nudged me to get my attention. I glare at him still mad about what has happened today "What," I say quickly.
"I would like to introduce the two other members to you," Sunghoon says. "This guy here," he says while putting his arm around the guy next to him "Is the oldest of our group Heeseung Hyung"
"Hello," I say politely "My name is (Y/N), let's get along," I said brightly with a warm smile.
"Yes, let's," he says warmly with a closed-eye smile.
"Now the last and the cutest Sunoo," Sunghoon says while doing jazz hands.
"It's nice to meet you (Y/N)!" Sunoo says with a shy smile "If you need help with anything feel free to come to me!"
"Yes, thank you," I say warmed by his words. "adorable," I think to myself. "I feel we'll get along," I chirped.
I hear a cough coming from Niki I look at him and raise my eyebrows as to say 'What' he just frowns and turns away. I look away fighting the urge to roll my eyes.
The boys talk among themselves and I decide to focus my attention elsewhere. Looking down at my food I instantly scrunched up my nose. "No way am I eating this." I'm not a picky eater, but that looks so unappetizing.
Letting all the noise drain away from the busy cafeteria I let my thoughts run as I list the things I need to do to keep myself alive and keep the boys well-behaved. "I need to be on my toes this year," I thought to myself as I let out a sigh.
Sunno who seems to be the biggest extrovert in the group has his attention on me. Already kind of knowing what he wants I decide to reach out first "Sunno, would you like my number?" I ask with a smile. Sunno with a bright-eyed smile gasps "Of course!" he says as if I would be insane to think otherwise.
I giggle as he says, "I'll add you to our group chat with our head manager, and I'll add you to another one that's just us!"
"Thank you!" I say with a small bow. "Thank you for saving me Mwhahaha." I laugh in my head knowing that I won't have to ask Niki for his number and have to put up with his antics.
Giggling more to myself I sit up and clean up my spot, and check my phone. I look at the time and smile "I have art class soon" thankful I don't have maths right after lunch. I look up and see that Heeseung and the 02z have already left.
I walk up to Sunno and Niki who are standing next to each other. Sunno is talking excitingly while Niki listens closely."Since we are all close to the same age we might have the same class," I thoughtfully think while I walk up to them.
Sunno who notices my presence decides to include me right away in what he saw talking about so excitedly. "Hey, (Y/N)! Have you heard of the cafè that is now selling a mint choco frappe?" Sunno asked and I swear I can see sparkles in his eyes. while on the other hand, Niki just had a blank look on his face the moment Sunno started talking to me.
"Hmm, I might have seen something about it," I said as I tilted my head slightly. "Do you like mint choco Sunno?" I ask.
"Yes of course!" Sunno exclaims loudly. "Do you like it too?"
"I've never had it before," I said thinking about if I would like it or not if I were to eat it.
Sunno gasps and puts his hand over his mouth with a sorry look in his eyes. "Do you want to come with me and Niki after school?" he says excited once again.
"Yeah sure I don't think I have anything planned," I said with a smile. "Sunno's excitement sure is contagious," I thought mentally smiling. I look over to Niki just to see that he doesn't just have a frown, he looks totally upset with his face looking like he just ate a lemon.
"Ppfft-." I laugh in my mind "If only it would spread to a certain someone," I thought with an amused look on my face. "Seriously though what is wrong with him? Has he never met a girl before?"
A loud bell sound interrupts my brainstorming. "We should get to our classes now," I say to the two. "What classes do you have?" I question as all three of us exit the cafeteria.
"I have maths," Sunno says with a disappointed tone.
"Ouch, right after lunch," I say pitying him. I turn my head to Niki and ask, "What class do you have?" Niki looks and pauses for a few seconds, just as it's about to be awkward he opens his mouth.
"Art."
"Wow, all that build-up just for the one word." I huff out a breath of air. Deciding that I should move on I say, "Me too." Trying to keep my words short.
"Well, I guess this is where we part ways," Sunoo says as he gives Niki a look as if saying 'You better behave'. Which Niki skillfully ignores.
"Yeah, see ya later," I say cheerfully.
Sunoo turns around and waves to Niki and me. Surprisingly Niki waves back to Sunoo with me with a smile on his face. "Hmm, maybe I'm getting caught up on his gloomy attitude towards me maybe, he truly is a nice genuine person."
"Well, I hope." I chuckle as I walk into the classroom taking a seat in the back by the window. "I wonder what's wrong with him..."
