Fluffy Feeling (Ralsei x M!Reader)

This boy, this precious boy...
Despite only getting to know him recently, you had already fallen for him hopelessly.

You could barely keep up even just the most basic of conversations.
Scared off by the thought of him somehow finding out and... things not going well.

One day, something woke you up from your deepest sleep.

"(Y/N)?"

"Ngh... m-whaa?..." You mumbled in confusion, wiping your eyes while sitting up.

"Sorry, I didn't want to disturb you, it's just getting really late. The others already left, I thought you might have things you needed to do." He smiled in a sweet manner at your fresh out of bed expression.

As your vision cleared, you realized who the familiar voice belonged to.

"Oh... dozed off, didn't I?" You scratched your face as you looked around.

He slightly tilted his head to the side, seeing your hesitation.
"Of course you can stay if you'd like."

After a few seconds of silence, you finally mustered up the courage to initiate.

"Maybe we could watch a movie?... I-if you feel like it?" You mumbled.

"Ah, sure!" He nodded brightly."

The movie you two ended up choosing was pretty long, it's been on for over an hour now.

You heard a yawn from the side.

"Sorry if it sounds a bit weird but would it be ok if I, um, snuggled up to you a bit? I-I mean this old couch is not very comfortable and only your side has a pillow..." He explained with a slight blush, although you weren't certain if you saw that right. The room was pretty dark, only illuminated by the TV.

"...O-of course." You agreed.
You felt your face lit up.

"Thank you... I suppose I should consider renovating a few things in the castle." He added with an awkward titter as he slowly laid his head on your shoulder.

Your heart raced as you felt the soft, fluffy fur press against you.

You were glad he couldn't see your face right now.

Some more time passed.

You noticed his breathing had slowed down.

You carefully peeked at him.

He seemed to have fallen asleep.

There was no issue with this until he began squirming a bit and ended up burying his muzzle in your neck.

You twitched at the feeling, eyes wide.

It sent shivers down your spine.

That wasn't your only reaction though... The situation was getting... hard.

You tried to ignore it and calm yourself. You didn't wanna risk waking him up, but...

You glanced at him again. His head was now closer to your shoulder again.
He was so adorable.

You felt an urge bubble up inside. You knew you wouldn't have the guts to try anything face to face. This was your chance. You just wanted one tiny kiss.

Despite your best efforts though, he opened his eyes right in the middle of your sneaky act.

You looked at each other petrified for a couple seconds, then you snapped back away with a shocked expression. You couldn't even make a noise.

"Uh... (Y/N)?..." He mumbled as his eyes wandered awkwardly.

Putting a sentence together proved almost impossible.
"A-w-well, I um, was only... I mean, i-it's not what it- I'm just..."
