"Jonathan," Steve begins waving his hand in front of him, "are you paying any attention?"
"Yeah, sure."
"You remember you're in charge of taking the kids to school tomorrow?"
"Uh huh. Sure."
Steve turns around and heads over to Robin.
"You realize we'll have to take them, right?"
"Yup."
*next morning*
"Hey, let's go!" Steve hollers to everyone.
Robin is still working on her make up, while running out the door.
Mike is waiting for El, and Will is waiting for Mike. But they still get out quick...ish.
Lucas comes barreling down the hall, tossing around his basketball. Steve's reflexes have needed to come in handy way too many time with him, "not in the house."
Max comes trotting out, with her headphones, taking the ball from Lucas, until they get to school.
"Where is Dustin?" Steve looks to Nancy, who's trying to get Jonathan and Argyle up.
"Said he had to do his hair quick."
"Right, right, doing his-" Steve's eyes widen as he runs down the hall, and begins banging on the bathroom door, "Dustin, you better not be using my products!"
No answer.
"Dustin!"
"Yeah?" Dustin's head peaks out from his room.
"I thought you were-" he cuts himself off and points to the bathroom, "Nance said you were doing your hair."
"I was. I'm done. It was a mess. Now it's not."
"You're wearing a hat...?"
"Yeah, but I can't have an explosion with this stuff," he points to the hair that sticks out the bottom.
"Fair enough."
Dustin walks passed Steve, and heads to the car.
"Wait... if Dustin's there, and everyone else is in the car, or living room, then who's?" He knocks on the bathroom door again.
Finally, it opens, "you need something, babe?" Eddie pokes his head out, clearly having just got out of the shower.
Steve is immediately flushed, "umm... nope... just got to go work."
"Okay? Have fun." Eddie walks back into the bathroom with a victorious grin on his face, knowing his plan to make Steve blush worked.
He gets on the walkie talkie with Dustin quickly, before Steve can leave the house, "thanks, worked like a charm."
"What are you smiling about?" Robin turns to face Dustin in the back.
"Nothing," a proud boy, as Steve gets in the car ready to take the kids to school, and show up late to work... again.
"Thanks a lot, Jonathan."
