𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐨𝐬.
That was all the young man laying on the ground could think of.
The distant sounds of explosions and gunfire clouded his ears, as he clutched his stomach that was leaking a warm liquid.
He was dying.
Just like the other soldiers that was forced to join the war alongside him.
He was disappointed that he was passing away, not because he wanted to live, but because he wanted to save one more person before he passed.
'So, this is the way I die?'
' Huh, I thought it would be more painful.'
As he slowly lost his life, a gentle breeze brushed against his face.
Almost like it was soothing him as he passed.
Soon enough, the distant sounds of chaos died down as the young mans ear's were filled with blood.
All he can feel and see now is the wind around him, giving him it's final gesture.
As he lost conciseness, all he could think of was how nice the wind was.

That was all that was surrounding the young man, nothing. After living a life that was filled with something, being in a place where nothing exists really made him think. After all, what can you do in a place devoid of anything? You could only think.
"𝓜𝔂 𝓬𝓱𝓲𝓵𝓭, 𝓸𝓹𝓮𝓷 𝔂𝓸𝓾𝓻 𝓮𝔂𝓮𝓼."
A booming yet caring voice called out.
He opened his eyes to see a woman, her golden hair draped down to her shoulders, her pale skin radiating off a faint light, and deep purple pupils made her eyes enchanting. She was wearing a robe that looked to be from the ancient roman times and a golden halo was floating above her head.
"𝓨𝓸𝓾 𝓪𝓻𝓮 𝓵𝓾𝓬𝓴𝔂 𝓶𝔂 𝓭𝓮𝓪𝓻 𝓬𝓱𝓲𝓵𝓭. "
"𝓘, 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝔀𝓲𝓷𝓭 𝓰𝓸𝓭𝓭𝓮𝓼𝓼, 𝓐𝓷𝓮𝓶𝓸𝓲, 𝓰𝓲𝓿𝓮 𝔂𝓸𝓾 𝓶𝔂 𝓫𝓵𝓮𝓼𝓼𝓲𝓷𝓰."
"𝓘 𝔀𝓲𝓵𝓵 𝓰𝓻𝓪𝓷𝓽 𝔂𝓸𝓾 𝓸𝓷𝓮 𝔀𝓲𝓼𝓱, 𝓹𝓵𝓮𝓪𝓼𝓮 𝓽𝓱𝓲𝓷𝓴 𝓽𝓱𝓸𝓻𝓸𝓾𝓰𝓱𝓵𝔂."
She said with a voice that can sooth even the most agitated people.
"𝓚𝓮𝓮𝓹 𝓲𝓷 𝓶𝓲𝓷𝓭 𝓽𝓱𝓪𝓽 𝓘 𝓬𝓪𝓷𝓷𝓸𝓽 𝓫𝓻𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝔂𝓸𝓾 𝓫𝓪𝓬𝓴 𝓽𝓸 𝔂𝓸𝓾𝓻 𝓸𝓵𝓭 𝔀𝓸𝓻𝓵𝓭, 𝓘 𝓬𝓪𝓷 𝓸𝓷𝓵𝔂 𝓰𝓲𝓿𝓮 𝔂𝓸𝓾 𝓪 𝓱𝓮𝓵𝓹𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓱𝓪𝓷𝓭 𝓽𝓸 𝓵𝓲𝓿𝓮 𝓱𝓸𝔀 𝔂𝓸𝓾 𝔀𝓲𝓼𝓱 𝓲𝓷 𝔂𝓸𝓾𝓻 𝓷𝓮𝔁𝓽 𝓵𝓲𝓯𝓮."
"I just want to the power to help people, so I can live a happy and peaceful life."
The young man stated with a heavy conviction.
The goddess was impressed in how the man portrayed himself and decided to give him the ultimate help she can give.
"𝓥𝓮𝓻𝔂 𝔀𝓮𝓵𝓵, 𝔂𝓸𝓾 𝓬𝓪𝓷 𝓰𝓮𝓽 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝓹𝓸𝔀𝓮𝓻 𝔂𝓸𝓾 𝓼𝓸 𝓭𝓮𝓼𝓲𝓻𝓮 𝓫𝓾𝓽 𝔂𝓸𝓾 𝔀𝓲𝓵𝓵 𝓵𝓸𝓼𝓮 𝓪𝓵𝓵 𝓻𝓮𝓬𝓸𝓵𝓵𝓮𝓬𝓽𝓲𝓸𝓷 𝓸𝓯 𝓽𝓱𝓲𝓼 𝓪𝓷𝓭 𝔂𝓸𝓾𝓻 𝓹𝓻𝓮𝓿𝓲𝓸𝓾𝓼 𝓵𝓲𝓯𝓮. 𝓐𝓻𝓮 𝔂𝓸𝓾 𝓸𝓴𝓪𝔂 𝔀𝓲𝓽𝓱 𝓽𝓱𝓲𝓼? "
The young man nodded, understanding this was a consequence for gaining power.
She snapped her finger, and slowly my memories of my past life were fading away, like they were never there.
A bright light started appearing, pulling me into the source and the last of my memories fading.
"𝓘 𝔀𝓲𝓼𝓱 𝔂𝓸𝓾 𝓰𝓸𝓸𝓭 𝓵𝓾𝓬𝓴 𝓸𝓷 𝔂𝓸𝓾𝓻 𝓳𝓸𝓾𝓻𝓷𝓮𝔂 𝓶𝔂 𝓬𝓱𝓲𝓵𝓭. 𝓡𝓮𝓶𝓮𝓶𝓫𝓮𝓻, 𝓐𝓷𝓮𝓶𝓸𝓲 𝓲𝓼 𝓵𝓸𝓸𝓴𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓸𝓿𝓮𝓻 𝔂𝓸𝓾."
A hospital in Tokyo.
