Chapter 3

*The next Day came*

Melody put aside her poem and focused on practicing her voice. 

One hour before the party will start so she gave her best effort on practicing because when summer started she didn't have a chance to sing.

Melody decided to sing Glowing inside. That was the first song that went to her mind so she decided that will be the one.

After a minuet another call came to her phone this time it was Alodia Cowford, the half america and half Filipina classmate. 

"Alodia!" Said Melody in a calm voice

"Hey! Glad you answered" Said Alodia

"Why did you call? Is there something wrong?"

"Um, no. Tricia said that she cannot call you again because she has no load so I came here to call you" 

"Oh. Ok. What about it?"

"We changed venue. We found out that the resort we were renting was close because it will be renovated"

"So where will our venue be!?" Melody said in concern that the closing party might be cancelled.

"Don't worry, glad my parents said yes in our overnight in our house" She said happily

"Oh" She breathed freely after hearing it. "So our venue is in your house?" 

"Yes!" Alodia smiled "Melody I'll be hanging up now, I need to fix something else" Alodia giggled then off the phone

After that, Melody immediately wore her floral blue dress with white cotton cardigan and her silver flat shoes with sparkilng gems at the side. Then she braided a thin strip in the left side of her hair and put some white gems  in between and put some powder. 

She pulled her lyrics in the table while walking out of the door and went out with her white glossy small handy bag.

While she was walking down the stairs Melody saw her  little sister, Aika who was 4 years old. Who has fair skin and curly hair in the bottom. Her eyes has a touch of brow and her face is completely cute

"Sish, where are yau goin?" Said Aika, not pronouncing her words correctly

"I'm going, Aika, see you later" She said in a childish way holding her cheeks

"Want to go too" Aika pulled the end of her dress and starting to cry

"Aww. You can't go. It's for 4th year students" Her eyes were saying 'sorry'

Aika cried and cried in a smooth voice.

"I know. I have an idea. When I come back I'll give you a doll" She smiled looking at her

Then she stopped crying and smiled at her.

"Ok, Aika, bye now!" Then Melody headed off to Alodia's mansion.
