(Normani is sitting in the living room watching t.v. when Lauren's father walks in.)
Mike: Good morning Normani.
Normani: Good morning Mr. Jauregui.
Mike: Where's Lauren?
Normani: She's at the studio recording.
Mike: Oh. I thought she might be out with Camila.
Normani: Camila is out sightseeing with Dinah.
Mike: Where's Ally?
Normani: She's probably texting her new boyfriend, Troy, or something.
Mike: Ah. Young love. I'm glad all of you are spending more time with different members. I told Lauren that you should all put in the effort to get to know each other and bond. It's not good for a group to form cliques. And, Lauren and Camila are attracting most of the attention from fans. The attention should be on all of you as a group.
Normani: I agree.
Mike: I'm especially happy that Lauren has found a best friend in you. I love Camila like she's my own daughter, but it wasn't healthy for her and Lauren to be attached at the hip all the time. You know, people were getting the wrong idea.
(Normani was starting to get a little uneasy.)
Mike: I mean, you and Lauren have a normal, healthy friendship. Camila is just...different.
Normani: How is she different?
Mike: Um...uh. She's a little too infatuated with Lauren. She kind of crosses the line sometimes.
Normani: I'm not sure I feel comfortable talking about this.
Mike: I'm sorry. I shouldn't have brought it up. I'll let you get back to your television show. I'm going to get some fresh air and call the family.
Normani: Okay. Tell everyone I said hi.
Mike: I will.
