A bell rang and everyone in the room seemed to understand what it meant, because they all stood up, including Spencer. I gave her a questioning look, but she didn't get the chance to explain, because a crowded group of people pushed through and Spencer dissappeared.

Instead of panicking, like I normally would, I followed the people, hoping they wouldn't lead me to an awful basement or anything. So I guess I kind of was panicking in a way.

Turned out the crowd was leading me to a room that looked quite similar to our cafetaria at school, only much bigger. The littlest children and the oldest adults seemed to have taken place in a different room, because all around me were teenagers. I spotted Spencer, standing near a table, waving at me.

I sighed in relief as I went in her direction. She had taken place at this table and patted the seat next to her. I sat down, just as some more people joined at the same table.

"So I guess it's dinner time," I chuckled. Spencer laughed and poured me some water.

"Yeah, you should know that when the bell rings, everyone is expected in the dining room" Spencer chuckled.

"I figured" I smiled. A couple seconds later a boy appeared behind Spencer and kissed the back of her head. A smile crept upon her face.

"Baby" She said as she turned her head to kiss the boy full on the lips. I was just waiting for her to introduce this stranger in front of me. And as I expected, she did. "This is Toby, my boyfriend"

He gave me a quick nod as I did the same. He already didn't seem to like me all that much.

"Toby, this is Aria, she's new"

His eyes grew wider and he smirked. I had never seen a more evil smirk on anyone's face before. Or was that just a thought.

"Ohh, a new one, we haven't had a new girl in forever" He chuckled and I wondered why. I wanted to ask but decided not to. "Good luck"

With that he walked away. I watched him as he reached a group of guys. They greeted him with complicated handshakes when he said something and all of their heads turned to me.

"What's going on?" I asked Spencer. I couldn't take the suspense no more. She just bit her lip as she took a bite of a turkey sandwich. I stared at her but she didn't seem to plan on telling me anything anytime soon. "What is it?"

"It's just this thing.." She didn't meet my eyes. She seemed to think her sandwich was extremely interesting.
"Just tell me, Spencer"

"Well, Asher has this bad habit of picking on the new girls, driving them crazy, playing them, if you know what I mean" She explained. But the situation became even more confusing.

"Who is Asher?" I asked. She finally looked up and her eyes met mine. I noticed hers suddenly concentrating on something that was behind me. She lifted her head slightly towards it. I turned around only to see him walking in.

The face finally had gotten a name. Asher.
His jeans was hanging from his belt and his T-shirt was loosely draped on his shoulders. How he could walk in this late, with that much confidence. I didn't understand.

His eyes met mine and I couldn't figure out what his expression told me. It was nothing good, that was for sure, because I did notice a hint of hatred in his eyes. I forced myself to tear my eyes away from him, before I embarassed myself.

He walked past our table as Spencer stared at him. He looked down when he reached us. "Spencer"

His lips weren't forming what I'd call a smile. But it was close to something that was close to a smile.
