"Go away, goddammit!" I had been annoying Asher by knocking on his door for the past ten minutes. He still hadn't explained any of his behaviour to me and I thought I deserved an explanation, so I was determined to get him to speak. But by the looks of it, I wasn't getting my well deserved explanation anytime soon.

"Asher, you owe me an explanation!" I yelled for the hundredth time. His door was locked and apparently he had been in his room ever since the incident with him and Ezra, which was about two hours ago.

Spencer and I had gone to the backyard afterwards and we had talked for what seemed like ages. I'd only just now gotten back and I had gone straight to Asher's room, not expecting his door locked.

"I don't owe you shit." He yelled once again. We had been going on like this for the past minutes and it was starting to piss me off. So because I knew he wasn't going to talk to me anytime soon, I decided to get to my room and let it rest for now.

"Child." Was the last thing I said to him that day. After that I went to the cafetaria, since I knew there was always something to do in the cafetaria, even when there was no food served. Spencer spent all of her spare time either there, in her room or in the general space. She only went to the backyard when she was with me. She wasn't 'fond of nature' was her excuse. I had laughed loudly at that.

I appaered to be right. There she was. In between some guys I remembered as Jason, Wren and Caleb. Only now there was another girl with them. She had slightly darker skin and black hair. She was extremely beautiful and I hadn't seen her around before. I approached out of curiosity and was immediately spotted by Spencer.

"Aria!" She grinned widely and shot up. She ran towards me and jumped into my arms, making me almost fall over. If I hadn't grabbed the table beside me, I probably would've.

She jumped to the floor once again and hooked her arms through mine. She was slightly hopping. Amused by her behaviour, I chuckled. She led me towards the table she was sitting on earlier and I was immediately welcomed by warm smiles.

"Aria." Jason nodded. I nodded back and stated that this was probably the way we were going to greet eachother from now on, since last time we only nodded to eachother as well. Caleb and Wren smiled at me as well and the girl too.

"Oh, right, this is Emily. Emily, this is Aria." Spencer introduced me to the girl. She stared at me and kept staring, her lips in a smile and a twinkle in her eyes. I couldn't help but feel a little uncomfortable. The look in her eyes told me she was after more than just a new friend.

"Hi, I haven't seen you around." I said, forcing a smile. I decided to ignore my bad feeling for now and just be nice to this girl. After all, she hadn't done anything wrong.

"Yeah, I'm new since today, so that explains that." She said. The fact that she still hadn't looked away from me even once since I met her, scared me slightly. When I met Spencer it was much more different. I just couldn't shake this feeling, even though I tried. It was only when I noticed everyone around me staring at me that I realized I hadn't responded for a while. I cleared my throat to break the silence.

"Welcome." I gave Emily a small smile and walked past her to get lunch. Even though I didn't see her, I felt Emily's eyes on me. Burning holes in my skin, making me wince in discomfort.

Spencer appeared beside me so suddenly that I couldn't help but jump up in surprise. She only seemed amused, judging my the soft chuckle she let out.

"You know, you were acting really weird back there, are you alright?" She asked. I should've known I was way too obvious. Being discrete had never really been my thing.

"Yeah, I just have this strange feeling, that's all." I tried to shrug off the subject, but knew at the same time I wasn't going to succeed. After all, this was Spencer.
