Jennette POV

Two hours has stopped by ever since my aunt and uncle urgently left my room as Aunt Rosalia was explaining how I was actually a princess and that I have a sister.

I sighed in frustration as I was studying and learning books that Uncle Roger has given me.

I sure hope their argument wasn't that bad, however, based on with what I heard from the maid's gossips, it seems pretty bad.

And apparently my aunt Rosalia will continue her trip, and has already gone without even saying a word to me.

What could have possibly made her do that?
I questioned myself.

But honestly, having her not here in the Estate would bring peace, well she is quite loud and noisy, it makes the estate alive, but sometimes it's just way too much. And so with peace, I can study without anyone interrupting me.

As I was lost in thoughts, thinking about what happened not so long ago, I didn't hear the knock, and was suprised of how Uncle Roger, was already looking at me of how focused I am with my studies.

"My, my" Said Uncle Roger.

"You seem quite busy and concentrated with your studies dear Jennette, I can tell you're hard working, and determined with your studies", said Uncle Roger with a smile as he praises me.

"Uncle!" I said in shock.

"When did you get here Uncle", I asked as I get off the chair I was sitting, so that I could greet him.

"Uncle, Pardon me for not hearing your door knocks, I was lost in thoughts" I said with a puppy eyes begging him for forgiveness.

"Aha, No need to be bothered by it, It should have been the other way around, for I abruptly went to your room as you were talking with your Aunt" he explained.

"Speaking of your Aunt, she has already gone to her trip, did she come to you before she left?" he asked curiously.

"Ah, she didn't.." I said in a sad tone.

"I see.., your aunt and I had a quarrel, and most adults also got into quarrels, so Don't think about what happened too much, I let her take a rest and plead her to continue her trip, but I didn't think she would have left without saying a farewell to you." My Uncle explained as he sighed.

Obviously somethings not right here, my Uncle and Aunt had barely had a quarrel before, they mostly think the same thing, but this time, they're both disagreeing with each other's opinion. Thus, I should find out what they're up to, so that I could perhaps avoid it, if it risk Athanasia's role.

"Uncle.. Aunt said something before you two left the room.." I said to him as I hesitate whether it is okay to continue the conversation I had with my Aunt Rosalia.

"Oh.. that.." Uncle said as he clears his throat, he then eventually sighed.

"Well look, what your Aunt Said is the truth, we are sorry for hiding it to you for so long, I hope you understand that we are only trying to protect you.." Uncle explained.
