Kobe yawned as she sat at the stoplight . She had such a long day with her students at work she planned on going in and taking a hot shower and getting in bed. She had'nt talked to or heard from Trey since they saw each other a week ago. She parked her car opened her front door and her jaw dropped. There standing in tall vases were different colors of orchids her favorite flower
"Who are these from" she said aloud looking for a card or something .She located the card and picked it up and read it out loud
"Sorry I fumbled your heart Kob, Trey" she held the card close to her heart as she held back tears. A few seconds later Trey was knocking at the door. Kobe halfway opened it and smirked
"Come on stop playing it's cold" Trey laughed
"Trey how'd you get the flowers in my house" she asked
"You must've forgot who I am , I have my ways " he grinned . Kobe side eyed him and then laughed shaking her head
"Jas, I know it she opened the door for the delivery guy" she said with a squint. Trey shrugged and smiled as he walked inside .
"What are you tying to do Tremaine" Kobe asked as she walked to the fridge to take out some chicken she had marinating overnight. Trey's eyes got big
"What we eating" he asked. Kobe leaned on the counter
"Boy I asked you a question " she said. Trey looked at her and smirked
"I'm trying to get back on your good side" he smiled.
"Well Trey you have to start with gaining my trust back a thousand of my favorite flowers aren't going to do it but.... Thank you they're beautiful" Kobe smiled walking to the fridge. Trey nodded his head towards her.
"I'm surprised you even remember my favorite flower" Kobe said grabbing a water out the fridge and taking a sip. Trey chuckled
"Kobe I remember everything about you" he said. Kobe came from behind the fridge and leaned on the counter and just looked at him. Trey laughed
"I do Kob, we've been knowing each other since we were 12 we're 30 now we'll I'm 30 you have a few months and some change left" he said
"Yesssss and I can't wait" Kobe said smiling
"What you doing" Trey asked leaning back in the chair.
"Going to Hawaii I just want to be peaceful and have fun" she smiled
"I'm positive you will Kob" Trey smiled. Trey had something up his sleeve to make sure Kobe would never forget this birthday.
