Fall has finally hit the city of Hollowshire. It was Amber's favourite season. The trees turning into a slight orange followed by the not cold yet not hot wind blowing and running itself across the city. Good thing fall lasts long. Or else the air will grow unbearably cold and you couldn't even step outside without freezing.

Hollowshire wasn't the best city to be in. The city is divided into 5 districts. Each district, according to the government, was split into rich and poor zones. Amber wasn't very fortunate. She lived in district 3. One of the poorest districts out there. Hollowshire was also famous for its hero system, the government finds people with remarkable talents in fighting and makes them defend the city from criminals. Although their job is to defend the city, they only defend District 1 and 2. Which is honestly so irresponsible.

Amber, personally hated her life in district 3. There was constant mugging and assaults to the point that the streets were almost empty. Usually everyone would go out in the morning for food or supplies, they would never DARE to go out at night. It's practically like asking to get assaulted and robbed.

Yes, it's true Amber isn't one of the most "luckiest" ones out there. But she was lucky enough to be attending a school. The people in the richer districts always rant on social media about how "boring" school is. But personally, Amber thinks they are just stupid, for the people in the poorer district it is like a light offering a way for them to escape this hell hole. It was a chance to be smart, a chance to leave the poor districts and work in the richer ones.

Now. Amber would like to tell you something amazing, inspiring, wonderful and most importantly admirable. Is her training to become a pro detective, and recently among my searches I have found something odd, something....

Forgotten.

And now she has made it her exact GOAL. To find the unexpecting mystery of this very case.

Amber sighed and walked into her apartment, her bed looked so lovely, so welcoming, in the white yellowish light of her only working light bulb combining with the cool, dirty white light of her empty fridge, it made her bed look so comfy and so very nice. She would do anything to lay down on the mattress and let her eyes shut off. Resting her head on her lumpy pillow and tugging some parts of the blanket. Amber was so close to falling asleep, to sleep peacefully, to dream even. Dream about being richer.

Ok so. When Amber said she was training to become a pro detective she meant she was... getting there? Well, she hasn't really learnt or has gotten accepted...?

She was a soon to be detective, she really liked analyzing things and solving the missing case of her stuffed animals since her childhood. And everytime she made a conclusion it was almost always right. But when she wanted to get hired by some detective organization she was rejected. They just let her go home without even reading her files. Like they were Sherlock Holmes or something. So, in revenge she took a random case near the office of the building she was interviewed at. She decided she was going to solve this very case and take it back to the building.

Oh! How she has thought about the faces and sorrow of their rejection. They would probably be like: "I am so sorry Amber! I should've never rejected your smart brain! I apologize! How about to make it up to you, we shall grant you 1k dollars per hour as your payment!" Amber smiled at the thought.

She opened her eyes from her everlasting dream and quickly ran to her desk, grabbing the torn piece of paper she stole from that hiring detective place and started to read it.

She was definitely going to solve this case!
She will win!
She will....
WHAT IS THIS?!?!?

She clenched the very old looking paper, it had very nice written handwriting on it, followed by a zipper bag with a few evidence of the case.

CASE NULL
25/5/2000

Case number: NULL
Description of enclosed evidence: A body was found torn apart and ripped up with lime green blood that seemed to have dripped from the murderer. It was found not far from an abandoned lab that seemed to have been through quite some damage.
Submitting agency: Chief Quo

Chief Quo? What a name. Amber sighed as she tried to look and read it more. Opening the file and seeing a few evidence slips that would help her. She kept reading it over and over again while walking towards her almost empty fridge and grabbing a random toast, and a glass of water. She chugged the water and stuffed the toast in her mouth before she was a piece of newspaper. It was from the year 2000 on the 7th of May. There was a picture stuck to it. The picture consists of a specific room of a lab, it looked like tubes that used to contain some kind of creature, with green blood on it...?

This is getting kinda trippy.

She puts the file down and grabs her bag, running off to school. She cared a lot about her grades, since that's the only way She'd be able to leave this hell hole of a town.
