One day Maxine was working on a murder mystery from the 2000's. The girl's name was Elizabeth Gordon, and she was at the park by herself when she got stabbed 68 times. This case has been unsolved for twenty years, and Maxine was determined to find the killer. Why? Because the girl was her dead older sister.
One day, she was walking around the park looking for the library when she discovers that the park almost had caution tape everywhere. She looked at a wall and saw an old-looking camera. It had to at least been twenty-five years old, maybe even thirty. She went to the front and was very eager to see what was on the camera. The receptionist opened the door, asking what was needed.
"Do you by any chance have tape for the camera that was outside?" She asked.
"Yes," said the receptionist. "However, if you want to see it you will have to come back after school hours, okay?"
At around 4:00, Maxine returned to the library, determined to find some details on who was her sister's killer. She looked at the tape and went through years of footage. It took almost an hour to find the date that her sister was murdered.
July 16, 2000. It was a weird date, it truly was. Why? That was Maxine's birthday.
Through the cameras she looked at the park. She saw a tall, muscular man with shaggy brown hair . He looked kind of raggedy, as if he had just gotten out from a fight.
The man looked at Elizabeth and went up to her, saying something that sounded like gibberish to Maxine. And that was when the tragedy struck. The tall man quickly pulled out the knife and stabbed her sister all sixty-eight times in the chest. After that, Maxine's eyes started to water and felt tears going down her face.
She rewind the tape and zoomed in on the man's face. She took a couple of photos and went back to the police station. She hooked up the pictures to the ID Recognizer. It took a couple of minutes, but she would wait a million years if it meant she could find her sister's killer.
Finally, the machine pulled up and ID. She couldn't believe just how attractive this man was. She felt butterflies in her stomach until she snapped back to reality, remembering that this is her sister's killer and not a sexy guy that she could find on Tinder. It wasn't until she looked at the name that her heart stopped. Harry Styles.
With some help, Maxine was able to read his texts, look at any of his past job applications, and more. She could even see his location. She noticed a number in Harry's contacts. He was texting this girl, saying that he was going to meet her at Fish Tank, an-aquatic themed club just down the road.
Based on the many times she had went and gotten drunk with her friends, Maxine remembered that the club opened at seven. Pretty early for a club. Glancing at the clock, she only had about forty-five minutes. She started her car and went home . When she got there it was 6:15. So much to do with so little time. She looked in her closet and found a dark purple satin dress the accentuated her curves. She didn't put much makeup on and put her long, messy brown hair into an Ariana Grande ponytail and left for the Fish Tank.
