He couldn't help the tears that came out of his eyes as he stared at his mother's body, the only thing confirming the fact she was still alive was the shallow breaths she took and the slow subtle rise and fall of her chest.
Shifting deeper into the corner while ignoring the pain that came from the bruises ln his body, Izuku Midoriya couldn't help but stare hopelessly at his mother's burnt body, hoping that if he stared long enough he'd realize it was just a mirage and her skin was still pale I stead of this burnt red he was seeing.
He refused to acknowledge the fire that was licking up the edges of her already burnt body as the flames spread more and more in the house hold.
He cursed his father for taking the only good thing he had from him. Like it wasn't enough that he had been diagnosed quirkless, ( the way they said it made it sound like he had this terrible incurable disease) and all his friends had turned their backs on him instead taunting him for something that he simply had no choice in.
The lack of oxygen started to get to him, topped up with the coming panic attack, as he took frantic short breath, not being able to feel the fire licking dangerously at him as black dots began to fill his vision
The last thing he saw was a blurry tall slim man in a dark outfit before his vision went dark.
....
One thing Shouta Aizawa liked about being a hero was the parkour privileges.
He squatted at the edge of the rooftop, his protective googles on as he kept vigilant.
Satisfied that there was nothing suspicious he stood tall and walked back ward a bit before running and landing perfectly with the elegance of a cat. There wasn't a need for his capture scarf when he could make the jumps perfectly.
He made his way, jumping through roofs, till a familiar siren rang through his ears. Changing his trajectory he made his way towards the ambulance.
He jumped of a lower building and made his way to the apartment complex which was slowly burning, with the residents outside all either looking worried, troubled or plainly annoyed.
He made his way pass the ambulance and fire trucks to the police car silently hoping to meet detective Tsukachi Naomasa since the rest of the police force were plain old idiots that annoyed him to death with their constant prodding gazes whenever he brought in a villain.
It wasn't his fault that he didn't exactly look hero like. His husband, Hizashi Yamada had refered him one to many time as a boy who never grew out of his emo stage and became a sadist along the way, which resulted in him wondering and then finding out how a Cockatoo would sound if it was being strangled. It wasn't a pretty sight.
"Tsukachi" he called out as he finally spotted the plain looking detective. Not hat he was one to call someone else plain.
The call made the said man look up and then excuse himself from the crowd of fellow officers to meet the hobo looking man. "What's the situation" Aizawa asked, not to fond off pleasantries and formalities
Ignoring his behavior since he was already used to the bluntness of the man Tsukachi spoke. "Got a noise complaint over 30 minutes ago from the neighbors. Said they suspected abuse going on since they was so much shouting and throwing of things. And then suddenly there's a female high pitched scream and the front door slams open"
He let out a sigh as his hands found it's say to his pocket.
"By the time they could work up the courage to check what's happening, the said house reported for the noise is already on fire"
Aizawa let his eyes drift to the apartment complex that the fire fighters were trying and failing at extinguishing the fire.
" Apparently the house belonged to your everyday normal family, dad, mom and their six year old kid though in the last two years shouting competitions have happened between both parents more often than you'd actually think. And neither of the family members have been accounted for. Coincidentally the father, Hisahi Midoriya has a fire breathing quirk"
