"What's wrong?!?" Jay asked as he constantly glanced from a shocked Jungwon and down at the table."Are-.. are you ok? Can you breathe?" Jungwon asked as he looked down at one of the plates on the table.
"Jungwon who are you talking to?" Asked Heesung, who had been startled by Jungwon's sudden reaction.
"The fish! Look at him! He's about to die!"
Everyone looked down and saw that Jungwon had been talking to a whole-cooked fish that was lying on a plate surrounded by garnishes. And Jungwon definitely didn't know that the fish was already dead.
"Don't worry, I'll help you." Jungwon said to the fish as he gently grabbed the fish from the plate and tossed it over the metal railing, into the ocean water below. He then sat back down in his seat while looking out at the ocean waves. "I think he'll be ok..."
Jungwon looked over and saw both Heesung and Jake looking at him with bewildered expressions. They both burst out into uncontrollable laughter as Jay facepalmed himself.
Jay then turned to Jungwon and quietly said to him, "Jungwon, why did you do that? You were supposed to eat the fish."
Jungwon's face turned pale. "But-... Jay, how could I do that? Fish are my friends, I'm literally half fish myself. That would be cannibalism!" He whispered back.
Jay didn't know what to say next as his two friends could be heard, still laughing across the table at what Jungwon had just done.
"Oh my god, what the hell was that?! That was hilarious!" Said Heesung between laughs as he tried to keep himself from falling out of his chair.
"You two were definitely meant to be friends! A few weeks ago Jay starts thinking that mermaids are real, and now you're talking to fried fish!" Laughed Jake.
"What's wrong with believing in mermaids?" Jungwon asked.
Heesung calmed down and sat up in his seat. "Huh? Not you too. Next thing you know, you two will be saying that faries are real too."
"What are faries?"
"Ok! I think that's enough talking! Jungwon, aren't you still hungry? Let's eat." Interrupted Jay.
"But... Jay, I'm not eating any fish." Jungwon half whispered.
"You don't have to. Here, try this."
Jay then forked some of his own food and fed it to Jungwon. Almost instantly Jungwon's eyes seemed to light up as he chewed it.
"Mmm, what was that?" Jungwon asked.
"It was just some fruit... You like strawberries?" Jay asked as he couldn't help but crack a smile at the sparkly look on Jungwon's face as he eyed the fruit on Jay's plate.
