After a few hours Midoriya finally started to stir, his head still aching slightly and he slowly opened his eyes. He glanced down towards his legs, noticing a pair of arms wrapped loosely around his waist, and the events from that morning flooded into his mind. He looked over at the sleeping boy next to him, his two toned hair entagled with Midoriya's green locks, a peaceful expression painted on his face.
The greenette glanced around the room, his eyes settling on a place filled with eggs and bacon sitting on the small table at the head of his bed. He was lost in thought, wondering when the boy next to him got up to make food, and how he managed to not wake up up. As the boy was lost in thought Todoroki started to stir against him, his eyes fluttering open and landing on the greenette. A smile spread over the boys face, and he wiggled slightly, removing his arms from the others waist and stretching.
Midoriya looked at the male, giving him a grateful smile and the dual haired boy returned it. They both spent a few minutes in silence, waking up and allowing their bodys to stretch out before either spoke. Midoriya didn't know what to say, so he awkwardly pointed at the plate and mumbled a quick thank you, embarrassment starting to creep up into his chest.
"Oh that's from your roommate, Bakugou. He brought it in a little while after you fell asleep."
Midoriya gave the other a confused look, his brows furrowing as he tried to understand how the blonde could look at him one way, and bring him breakfast a few minutes later. Todoroki let out a soft chuckle, shrugging in response to the boys confusion. Neither spoke after that, Midoriya too far in his thoughts to have a productive conversation. After another half hour passed Todoroki stood up, and told the greenette he was gonna hang out with Shinso for a few, and told the boy to come join them when he was ready.
Midoriya nodded in response, grabbing his phone from his nightstand, assuming that his friend had put it there after he had fallen asleep, and checked the time. It was almost noon now, which meant he slept for about 2 hours, and also meant he hadn't eaten in almost 24 hours. The young male had a bad habit of skipping meals when he was anxious, and yesterday was moving so quickly he forgot about his dinner.
The boy groaned and unlocked his phone, seeing a message from his mom, two missed calls from his mom, and a message from 'Todoroki :)'. Apparently the dual haired boy had sent him a message so they could have eachothers numbers, and since Midoriya didn't have a code to keep people out, he set his own contact name. The message made him smile, and he quickly shot a quick response back so the boy could save his number.
Just as Midoriya was getting up to head out and find something to eat, the door was slowly pushed open and a certain blonde walked in. He locked eyes with Midoriya again, his gaze slightly less intimidating than the first time, but it still caused the boys heart to jump to his throat. The blonde didn't say anything, he just walked up to the boy and handed him a plate.
The greenette glanced down, a chicken wrap was cut in half, and a few carrots and broccoli pieces filled the rest of the space. Bakugou reached over and grabbed the plate of untouched eggs, and the two locked eyes again. Emerald eyes began to gloss over again, the familiar panic rising in his chest before he looked away, forcing himself to steady his breathing.
Midoriya mumbled a quick thank you before scooting back against the wall, his eyes trained on the food, and the blonde huffed before walking away. Before the younger male could calm his breathing down and focus on something, the blonde stopped and turned back towards him. Midoriya ignored the boys gaze, he could feel his eyes burning a hole in his skin but he refused to look up, if he did he knew he'd freak out again.
