Midoriya woke up to a loud rhythmic beeping coming from the side of his bed, throwing his hands over his ears trying to drown out the noise. After a few more seconds of the agonizing sound he forced his eyes open and grabbed his phone, silencing his alarm and shooting upwards.

It was 10.30 on a Saturday which meant the boy had an hour and a half to shower, get dressed out be out the door in time for his appointment. He kicked his blanket off, and grabbed a pair of jeans, a long sleeved turtle neck, a pair of socks and underwear from his dresser, before heading to the bathroom. He turned the water on, making sure the temperature was comfortable, before stripping and stepping in.

He was in and out in 45 minutes, scrubbing every inch of his frame and washing the grease from his hair, before stepping out, catching a glimpse of his reflection. His arms were littered with small, circular scars, the skin bubbled over and stained a deep red. He absentmindedly touched the largest one, about an inch away from the curve of his wrist, painful memories flashing across his eyes. He shook the thoughts from his mind, he wouldn't admit it to anyone, but he missed the way he felt afterwards, missed the calm after the storm.

Midoriya's skin was pale and sickly, but it wasn't noticeable to anyone other than himself, and lips were cracked and colorless. His ribs were pushing against his skin, his figure a defined hour-glass, and his thighs were littered with more circular scars. Without another thought the boy got dressed, drying his hair and grabbing his toothbrush, pushing a layer of paste on the bristles and beginning to brush. His bright green eyes were darkened due to the deep-set black circles clinging to his bottom lid. The boy may seem to be sleeping more than normal, but he had been having vivid night terrors for over a week.

Thankfully his roommate, Bakugou, was a heavy sleeper so he hasn't woken him up during one, but he also wasn't able to scream if he wanted to. He stepped back into his dorm room, silently grabbing his phone and checking the time, before throwing his bag over his shoulder and making his way to the kitchen. It was 11.15 now, which meant he had maybe 45 minutes to walk 5 miles across town, and he would have to skip breakfast again. He grabbed a glass bottle of coffee, waving at Todoroki and Shinso before making his way to the front door.

Just as he went to grab the handle, the door swung open, causing the greenette to stumble backwards in shock, a squeal escaping his lips. Rody chuckled as he stepped inside, ruffling the greenettes hair as an apology before noticing the boys outfit and obvious rush.

"Where ya off to in such a hurry Zu?"

The youngers cheeks flushed pink at yet another nickname falling from the boys lips, and quickly sputtered out that he was heading across town. Rody raised his arm, his keys dangling between his fingers, a silent offer to drive the younger wherever it was he was headed. Normally Midoriya would be grateful for a ride, especially since walking 5 miles would strain his lungs and legs, but not this time.

He shook his head before trying to shove past the auburn haired male, his anxiety rising as he felt the minutes ticking past. Unfortunately Rody wouldn't take no for an answer, and grabbed the younger boys hand, walking next to him and guiding him to his car. The greenette tried to protest, weakly mumbling about needing the exercise but the older just chuckled im response, opening the passenger door and ushering the boy inside. Once Rody was seated he glanced over at the younger male, prompting him to tell him where to go.

"Hanako Counseling"

His voice was strained and tears were threatening to fall from his eyes, embarrassment seeping into every corner of his body. He hated people knowing he saw a therapist, it made him feel pathetic and just assumed everyone would be as judgmental as his father was. Rody nodded and put his truck in drive, relying on the boy next to him to give directions.
