Isabella Wolfe was on the front page and every news station across the country was talking about the news of the newly emerged, former recluse and what she was. The second Isabella heard what came out, she sent Jazz and Cass away with Jean and Logan to go back to school. They would be safe in their hands until they were back at school.

Paparazzi was clawing to get inside the gated community, all morning. She hadn't dressed properly, still in a nightgown dealing with this nonsense. Calls and emails were nonstop. Isabella abandoned the phone on the countertop and paced her living room. Enraged wasn't enough of a word to describe what she felt. Fury thundered through her veins. Iz shivered, pulling her steaming mug of coffee to her lips. Who? Was the only question she had. Who leaked the fact she was a mutant? "Do we know who?" Someone that she could rip into would be nice.

"Fury is looking into it." Iz leveled a cool stare at the spy. Clint had the audacity to look a little sheepish. "Actually, I am meeting up with Coulson and Director Cat, now. Behave, I'll be back in an hour."

Iz watched Clint retreat and growled a curse. A ring of a stupid and silly ring tone Jazz and Cass picked. The last ring that she would tolerate. She grasped telekinesis and flung the phone in the direction of the pool. "Fuck." Iz watched the phone plop and sink to the bottom of the salt water pool. "Fucking Hell."

Yet, there was another ring from the front door bell. Iz mentally reached feeling the presence of the visitors. People had slipped past the gate house or were let through. Humans with malicious intent. "Hurry up! Before a neighbor spots us!" She could hear one hiss at the stocky man kneeling and picking her court yard's door lock.

The Brotherhood had several things right in her opinion. They hated what she was, she could almost taste their fear of the unknown in the air. That was quick. She had someone to rip into too. Isabella Wolfe smiled thinly, wrong house and certainly the wrong family.

-.-.-.-.-.-.-.

Tony heard the news after a restless night after being in a dogfight if someone wanted to call falling on a f-22 fighter jet a dogfight and struggling to remove damaged armor. He wasn't jittery like he expected. Rhodey had stories of jitters from flights and exercises. Tony felt surprisingly steady. Angry at Obi and the double dealing of his company. Giving the bastards that held him hostage to build a Jericho missile, a Jericho missile. He was ashamed at his own ignorance and blindness but his hands didn't shake. Being in his first gun fight? A gun fight against the ten rings and a tank. He was kept up by Obi's actions, not gun shots. Locking him out of his own company. Someone who was there with him for a long time and someone he had looked up to for a time.

Tony reached out to Isabella, first thing. He didn't want her to gloat but he needed to know how much more she was holding back. How much this shadow organization knew about Stark Industries' dealings. She didn't pick up. After coffee and repairing/adjusing the suit. Another unanswered call and then the morning news said it all. Isabella still wasn't answering. "Damnit, Iz."

Tony couldn't leave her alone. They were finally on some sort of being on the same page. For the first time in ages. She was willing to help and had as much as she could without his approval. Pepper was taking files from Stark Industries HQ. He wanted Iz's knowledge and her help? Tony wanted something. He didn't have the word for it but he needed his friend.

Tony arrived to her home and walked up the sidewalk but Clint the assistant stood at the courtyard's door. A key in his hand but the heavy oak door was open. Clint assessed the door and then Tony. "Are you the leak?"

"No, are you? Since your super secret club left enough crumbs for me to piece it out." Tony retorted.

Clint rolled his eyes. "Yeah, I don't have a death wish-."
