Also with the prince stuff, you'd expect Toya to be the prince of this royal love story, but I got a mega plotwist about that lmao

‐--------------------------

It has always been the same old stuff in the kingdom of the Shinonome's. The prince and princess were always arguing as siblings do, they offer ideas to village folks, and deal with the difficulties of being apart of a royal family.
Akito, the youngest of the bunch was never fond of the royalty his family had, and especially hated being stuck in the kingdom constantly.

It was a bright morning, and the young prince hadn't woken up yet since he had to go through his 'proper prince' training so late the day before. The last thing Akito did afterwards was head straight to bed after the exhausting day.
Knocking was then heard on the other side of the door "Prince Akito! It's time to get up, your family is waiting for you at the dining table!"
Akito heard one of the maidens call out, he let out an exhausted sigh as he got up from his bed.
"Tell them I'll be out in a minute-" He yawned out, he then received a 'alright' sort of hum from the maiden before a sound of footsteps started to fade.
Akito then went to his closet and pulled out a rather fancy uniform, it took him a bit until the outfit was completely on him. Not bothering to deal with his hair, he went to thr door, opened it, and walked out to head to the dining room.
"Akito! Your late again!!" Akito heard his sister, Ena, exclaim as he took a single step into the room. He then went to sit on the seat across from Ena.
"That's not very mature to be later than 7:30, and you look like you got bed hair, no wonder why I'm the favorite since I'm more proper-"
"Oh shut up Ena, petty is more of a suitable word to describe you."
"I'll make you eat those words you-!"
Ena was then silenced by her father's glare.
"I swear there will never be a day where you both don't fight.." their father mumbled, putting his hand on his face.
"No, it's just that Akito is always being so mean, it isn't my fault."
Akito glared at her from the other side of the table and stood up from his seat, "You were the one who started this!!"
"Akito Shinonome! Sit down, if you want to be proper then you better keep your ass in that chair mister!" Mr. Shinonome grunted, Akito sighed and sat back down, then started to pick at his food with a fork, a quote on quote "fancy omelet made by the riches eggs".
Mr. Shinonome then cleared his throat "Now that we're all relaxed, I have something important to share with you Akito."
Akito stabbed the omelet with his fork, then looked up at his father, "And this news isss-?"
"Well, since your growing to be the next king, and your sister decided not to do it, we're leaving you to a marriage with a fine woman from the kingdom in the west area."
Akito looked stunned, "I'm sorry.. a setup marrige?! Dad, I didn't agree to that!!"
Mr. Shinonome frowned, "Well I'm not going to grow old having both my kids not marrying anyone."
"I could, but can't I choose who I can be with?"
"That would not be necessary, since we're waiting for them to arrive in a few days whether you like it or not."
Akito sat up, just pissed off at what he was hearing, "I'm not marrying a random woman I know nothing about!!" He then stormed off, he heard his father shout his name, but he didn't even bother to turn back around.
The prince made his way to his room, he shut the door behind him, then walked over by the window of the room. He looked out and sighed as he watched the village people walk around, 'they must be enjoying themselves down there.. living lives that aren't picked for you..' He thought to himself.
As he watched people live their daily lives out there in the village, Akito then came up with an idea.
He quickly rushed to his closet and looked around, then finding a dark colored cloak that he borrowed a long time ago from his father when he was younger, it used to be big on him, but now since was actually grown, he could fit just perfectly in it when he put it on.
He then looked around for a hair tie and put some of his hair back into a short ponytail, then put the hoodie of the cloak over his head. After he finished his setup, he opened his door and looked out for a moment, seeing nobody was there, Akito then quickly rushed to a nearby exit, though unfortunately was surrounded by guards.
The prince sighed as he took his hair tie out, then fondled with it until he put it in a position to shoot with, then shot at a metal looking statue, causing a sound that alerted the guards, causing them to go the opposite direction of Akito to check it out as he snuck out of the exit and into the village area.
It was the most social place Akito ever walked into, normally things in the kingdom were different, but he had never felt more alive as he walked through the village.
He heard people talking about things other than royal talk or sibling arguments, he heard happiness and fun. He seemed to he to caught up with everything surrounding him that he didn't notice anything infront of him when he walked, he lost his balance for a moment, but then managed to keep himself standing, unlike another person, the person he bumped into.
"Ow...-" Akito heard the voice of a male below him, he looked down and saw a man with two-toned blue hair.
Akito sighed, then crouched down by him, "Hey, you okay-?"
The unknown male looked up at him, Akito saw dirt marks on his face,
"Huh.? Oh, yes im okay." He spoke in a calmed tone.
"Need help getting up?" Akito said, he stood up and put his hand out for him, which the unknown male responded by putting his hand on Akito's as he pulled him up.
"..Thank you." The unknown boy bowed himself as thanks.
"You know, you don't need to do that, right?"
"Oh. Sorry."
Akito sighed, "It's all good, don't worry."
Akito felt an off felt glance come from the boy, "You okay?" He looked at the male, who seemed to quickly turn his head when he almost met his gaze.
"Y-Yeah, fine." He mumbled, Akito noticed the boy take a deep breath, then looked at him with his pale gray gaze as he spoke, "Who are you? I don't recognize you from this parts of the village."
"I'm Aki-" Akito paused, "A..Akira! Yeah, Akira is my name. I'm new in the village."
"Akira-San.. very nice name indeed. I'm Aoyagi Toya, it's a pleasure to be meeting you."
Akito sighed in relief, "Yes, very nice to be meeting you as well." He smiled at Toya, who which returned his smile.
The disguised prince felt bad to lie about his true identity, but he thought it was better than gaining attention all because he was a royal Shinonome.
Toya then spoke once more, "If you'd like, I could show you around the place, do be careful though."
"Hm? Why should I? Something going on in the village?"
The dual-toned male nodded his head, "This village may seem friendly, but it's really a whole lot of stealing here, as well as sneaky people."
Akito's eyes went wide, 'Stealing? Sneaking?? I thought this would be a safer village! And my father didn't even know about this, or Ena!'
"Well.. does anybody from the kingdom know about this-?"
Toya shook his head "Judging by how none of the Shinonomes speak about such an issue, we've assumed that the guards in the village just get it done with and don't bother saying a word."
"Wow.. that's quite rough-" He sighed, then looked at the taller male, "Well now I know that.. you mentioned that you'd show me around, so where are we heading to first-?".
Toya shrugged, "I suppose the first place that comes up during a small walk to see what all is here."
"Alright, I'll be fine with that!" Akito smiled at him.
"Okay, let's go then Akira!!" Then Toya took Akito's hand and started walking with him.

‐--------------------------

As they continues their way through the village, Toya talking about everything in it, they hear commotion coming from an up ahead. Akito turned his head to hear Toya sigh,
"Another crime ahead, must be that one guy from last week."
"From last week? Has nobody in the village dealt with this?"
Toya shook his head, "It's been like this ever since, and because of how fragile [pun intended] the folk here are, we can't do much about it.."
Akito grunted, then went over to where the commotion was coming from,
"A-Akira! Where are you going? You could get hurt!" The blue haired male exclaimed, but Akito didn't listen, he continued to walk until he saw the racket.
From the looks of it, a man was robbing a woman's bread market, taking some of the bread on stock.
"HELP!! HES STEALING THE BREAD!!" The poor woman shouted out in fear as she tried pulling the man away from her stand, but nobody decided to take any bother since this was a weakly thing.
"Hey jerk face!!" Akito shouted as he rushed over, "Leave the lady and her bread alone!"
"And what the hell are you gonna do about it you little child!!" The man spat out as he started to laugh. Akito glared at him, then punched him in the arm, only nudging the bigger guy by a slight amount.
"That was pathetic!" The man said as he grabbed Akito by his cloaks front part and outfit collar. And lifted him up.
"With a weakness like yours, there'd be no way your gonna be stopping me!" He laughed out, then shook Akito.
"A-Akira!! S-Someone help him!!" Toya shouted as he rushed over to where the two men were, then tried to tug on the taller male's arm.
The man looked down at Toya and laughed, "Oh look, another one!!" He then punched him away, causing the two-toned male to stumble to the ground as he continued to shake Akito.
Akito looked in horror as he saw Toya on the ground, "T-Toya!!"
As the male shook him, Akito's hoodie then eventually came off, causing the man to stop,
"W-Wait a minute!! Y-Your the prince?!" He shouted loudly, which alarmed the guards since Akito wasn't supposed to be out.
"Hell yeah! Who else am I?!" Akito grunted as he tried escaping his grasp, which was unbearable due to his strength.
"Still a weakling! Prince Akito, more like Prince Shrimp!!" The man laughed as he threw Akito on the ground with force a foot away from Toya.
Akito winced in pain, but he slowly lifted himself up to his feet, the man turned to face him and grinned.
"Got up in one throw? How bout a punch!!" He was about to give Akito a good pound in the face, before a loud "HAULT!" was heard in the distance as well as the sound of hurdling footsteps. After the call of the prince was heard, an army of men and women guards raced over to circle the man.
"Stop by name of the Shinonome's, assaulting and nearly killing the prince is violated against the village law!"
"Law, Shinonomes, WHATEVER!" The man tried to run, but was toppled by many guards.
As that was going on, Akito made his way to Toya, who was passed out on the ground, 'no wonder why he said people here are fragile.. they can't take a shove!'
Akito shook Toya, "Toya? Are you okay??"
The two-toned village man opened his eyes slightly and released a small, pained groan.
"God.. that felt like a boulder hit m-" He mumbled, but was cut off by Akito hugging him close.
"A...Akira? What's wrong.?"
"It's not Akira.." The prince pulled out of the hug so Toya could get a good view of his face, "It's actually Akito. Look I didn't mean to lie about that part but I didn't want people to come and treat me like royalty when I'm here-" He sighed, Toya only looked at him in suprise.
"Your saying.. you were the p-prince all along?" Akito nodded his head. Toya smiled a little at the prince.
"Well I suppose it was a great honor.. getting to be with you."
"Meh, it's something. Are you hurt badly anywhere?"
Toya shook his head, "No nothing bad, just sore on my shoulder from that shove."
"Hmm.. maybe the maidens in the kingdom could get you something to reduce that soreness." As he spoke, he picked Toya up in a bridal manner, causing the village boy to turn red compared to his cool, blue hair.
"A-Ah, I suppose that wouldn't h-hurt.?"
Akito smiled at him, receiving a smile back from Toya. Before they started walking, two guards walked up by Akito.
"Prince Akito, do you want us to send that man to the dungeon to cause no harm to others?"
"It'll probably be best, whatever gets that man away from the village folk is fine with me."
"Alright." The guard went over to the others, but the second one stayed with Akito and Toya to escort them back into the kingdom.

There will be a part two to this story hopefully soon!! I just decided not to write it here though because this part has 2000+ words in it now. I had not much motivation and idea with this so I somewhat might have based it off of Aladin-
