01 - Mermaid or Siren?

"Shut up, senpai." Hinata slapped Nishinoya's hand away, creating a loud smack. Yet, instead of being upset, Nishinoya laughed.

"Such sass." Sugawara murmured but was still heard.

Hinata glared at him, taking off his shoes and throwing it on the other. Good thing, Suga managed to dodge. "Bitch." Hinata whispers while gritting his teeth.

Everyone laughed. "Okay, okay. Stop it already, stop upsetting Hinata, it might affect his game later." coach Ukai said.

They nodded yet their eyes still bore playfully at the orange head. If looks could kill, they had long been dead, Hinata's glare never left them.

Today is the day of a practice match with Nekoma. Though not a big event, their pride is still up to it.

The game started off good, every player shines their own way, taking every bounce of the ball in consideration.

"On the left!" Daichi screamed.

The Nekoma was on charge, Kenma watches the ball, sets it and smoothly give it to Taketora.

Taketora happily received the set and spiked it.

"No wait! Hinata!" Coach Ukai managed to warn them, panicked.

But it's already late. Before anyone can even move, the ball had already hit Hinata's head, causing him to fall back, his head made an impact on the floor, causing a loud bang.

Everything turned quiet. You can even hear them breath. It took them a few second to realize what's happening.

"H- Hinata!" Kageyama called running to the orange head's side.

The latter isn't moving, unlike before, when he will immediately stand up, be mad and scold them. This time, he only laid down, completely still, it isn't even clear if he's breathing.

He panicked. He also noticed that he seems not drowning at all 'cause pretty sure he's underwater!?

He closed his mouth, trying to stop himself from drowning (?). He wagged his arms and awkwardly wagged his tail.

After a few minutes of struggling, he finally stopped. He nonchalantly stared around the place and to his tail.

Did he just turned into a freaking mermaid?

Is this tail, fake?

He touched it. The fins are sharp, when you raise it a little, you can see the golden and a little pinkish skin underneath. He can feel it, which confirms that it is indeed real.

He then riased his hands, strangely, his nails are very sharp and long with greenish glittery effect on it.

He touched his hair, it's long, reaching his tailbone. It's still orange but a little golden.

His skin is white as snow, not a normal person's skin.

He sighed.

Golden tail, gold hair, long ass nails.

So, he's a mermaid now?

Suddenly, he heard some vague voices. But how? Isn't he underwater? He touched his ears, it have small fins on them, the tip of it is pointed like what those elves in fantasy movies he had seen.

He looked up, he can see some lights from above, if he isn't mistaken, he's prolly Not in the ocean or lake. He's probably in an.... aquarium.

Akaashi flipped on the page of the book he's holding. After a while, he looked up and looked the person in front of him. "This golden mermaid isn't a pure mermaid. He's a half siren and half mermaid. His features are similar to typical mermaids but... His singing can bring distractions, can poison a person's mind and there's a chance that his instinct might be that of a siren."

A mermaid emerged from below, his hair is gold, his skin is highly toxicating, it's eyes looks very innocent, similar to that of a child. He raised his hands and touched the edge of the pool, his orange with a tinge of green eyes are staring directly at them.

"Truly beautiful..." both of them cannot help but whisper.

Hinata heard what they said. From the looks of it, he's a half mermaid half siren. As for where he is... He have a bad feeling that he's not in his real world.

Hinata is very clever, the situation is very easy for him to understand. Although the situation is indeed very panicking and scary, he believes that he can only calmly face this.
