Chapter 4 rewriten

Nova pov
"Yea just pull up right here" I said looking up from the gps on my phone. "Ok cool call me when you are done ok" Zoe said putting the car in park as I hopped out. "Ok will do love you" I said walking towards the building. "Love you too."

Finneas pov

"God I fucking hate these things" I said as I fiddled around with the sound board. I then heard a knock at the door. A person who looked to be around 5'2 was standing there. Oh shit that's nova.

"Hey finneas right" they said hold out their hand. "Yea and you are nova right" I said letting them in the studio. "Yep thats me" they said with a laugh.

We both sat down on the couch's and started talking. "So do you have anything thing you have been working on" I said as I set my guitar in my lap. "Um Yea I do I only have the chorus" she said playing with her rings. "Ok let me hear it and then we will go from there" I said and that calmed her a little.

She grabbed my ukulele and started strumming.

You said "Hey"
And I said "Hello
What's your name? I'd really like to know about you"
Too bad I stopped at "Hello"

She stops and looks at me. "That's all I have umm what did you think" she ask very nervous to hear my answer. "Omg Nova that was amazing Jesus" I said with a breathy laugh.

"Ok so I was think that on the last chorus you could do
You say "hey"
I say "hello"
How was your day
You said "better now" with a smile
Oh what a cliche but it to be honest it made my day" I said to them.

"Oh my god I fucking love it" they said getting excited. "Then I could call it cliche oh my god that's so cute" they said freaking out.

2 hours later

Me and nova have been working on this song and finished it. We decided it sounds better acoustic.
Now nova is recording it.

"Oh my god nova that was amazing" I said once she got out of the booth. "Yea but I think we are good for tonight" they said rubbing their eyes. "Yea I agree you worked really hard today" I said patting their back as we grab our stuff.

Me and nova both walk out and waited with them for their ride. "Oh my god Zoe isn't picking up" they said throwing their hands up. " I can take you home if you want me too" I said to them. "Oh my god would you mind Zoe isn't answering" they said with a tired face.

"Yea of course come with me" I said leading nova to my car. We arrive at their place. I walked them too the door. The knock and to my surprise my sister childhood best friend opened it.

"Oh my god nova I am so sorry I didn't answer" Zoe said rubbing their eyes. "It's fine finneas dropped me off" they said turning to me.

I wave to Zoe and go to say hi before she cut me off. "Oh shit finneas is that you" Zoe said looking at me. "Haha Yea it's me, alright goodnight nova and good job today" I said walking to my car.

Nova's pov

"You know him" I asked as I walked into the house. "Um yes he is my childhood best friends brother he is a cool dude" Zoe said following me upstairs.

"So how did it go" she asked flopping on my bed. "It went good we finished my song and named it" I said with a big smile. "Ooooo what is it called" she asked with a interested voice.

"I am calling it cliche" I said as I fixed my bed. "Oh I can't wait to hear it but for now I am going to bed" Zoe said getting off my bed and walking out.
