School finally ends and you decide you'll go on a walk to try and clear your mind of everything that's been happening since Dustin's riding home with mike today anyway .
You spot this bench in the woods and decide to sit for a few and write down some things and do some journaling .
A couple minutes go by and you start hearing the leaves crunching around you .
You ignore it assuming it was just an animal . You continue to write but you hear the crunch's getting louder .
You lift your head up quickly and look around . You get up and slowly start to walk around to try and see what's making that noise, when all of a sudden you bump into something
"What the fuck!" You scream as you turn around .
"Woah! I'm sorry , did I scare you!"
You look at this man holding your chest , visibly startled. "No , no...not at all" you say breathing heavily
"Alright how about you sit down" he says as he takes your arm and leads you to the bench . You sit down and he sits down across from you
"Eddie , you?" He says smiling as he sticks out his hand
"Y/n..." you say as you awkwardly shake his hand.
"So what are you doing out here all alone y/n"
"I could ask you the same thing"
"I mean yeah you could , but it makes sense for me to be out here in the woods ...alone , but definitely not Hawkins very own y/n Henderson."
"Well I thought it would be good to sit her and kinda clear my head for a bit I guess" you say as you nervously start twiddling your fingers
He puts his hand on your hand to stop you from moving them , "are you alright? I'm not trying to make you uncomfortable...I can leave"
"No no it's fine , just stuff has been racing through my mind all day ...just feeling a little anxious" you say as you keep your head down.
"Are you doing anything after your ...ya know ...done here"
"No not really....why?"
"Well I'm heading home , and I'm sure you don't wanna sit in these scary woods all day" he says looking at you , following it with a laugh
"Is this you inviting me to your house Eddie Munson?"
"Well not necessarily...house"
"What do you mean?" You say looking at him confused
"No time for questions!" He says as he quickly gets up , grabbing your arm and leading you running through the woods ,your both laughing as you get into his van and he starts driving .

30 minutes later he pulls into this trailer park , he parks the van and you both get out . He then walks up to the front door and holds it open for you .
You walk in and look around , admiring All the things he has hanging up .
"My humble abode" he says with his hands on his hips smiling
You look Over at him and laugh
"That's what I like to see , I knew your smile would be pretty"
As he says that you can feel yourself start to get flustered .
"So you go to Hawkins right , I've never seen you around ?" You say as you sit down on the couch
"Yeah I do , I normally just lay low ....but I will say I'm more hurt that you don't remember me!"
"Remember you from...?"
"5th grade ? Talent show?" He says as he gets up and starts doing weird dance moves
"Oh my god! That was you??"
"Yea it was baby!!" He says laughing as he comes over to sit down beside you .
"You looked so different, I mean not in a bad was of course."
"Yeah well my head was buzzed and I didn't have these sweet tatts...but from what I remember , you were always beautiful."
You can feel your cheeks start to get red so you put your head down in attempt to hide them . When you then feel a finger under your chin , lifting your head up took meet your eyes with his .
Out of the spur of the moment you lean in and kiss him .
You pull away with a shocked look on your face
"I- Im sorry, I think I should be heading home now ." You say as you get up and frantically get your stuff
"Um yeah okay , I'll get the keys ." He says nervously as he clears his throat .

After 30 minutes of the most awkward car ride of your life , you finally arrived at your house
He parks in your driveway and looks over at you "Hey look, if I made you uncomfortable I'm really sorry" he says hesitantly
"No it's fine , thank you for the ride." You get out of the van quickly and close the door before he could say anything else .
You walk into the house and head to your room .
